Skipped my 30 minute lunch at work to help a woman in distress jump start her car. I was hoping after my hour and a half commute home that I could enjoy a little bit of good karma. That didnt happen. I ordered pizza from thee "All Star" pizza located on 137th Avenue. I placed my order over the phone for DELIVERY, which was possible in the past, seeing as I have ordered from "All Star" before. Let's start with the previous delivery. . . I live on the corner of 152nd and 122nd Ave, 10 min max from "All Star", the delivery driver looked at the generous 5 dollar tip I had left him and said "That's it???? Do you know how far of a drive it is?" Let us not forget the delivery charge, your hourly wage, and the tip I just gave you I thought to myself. . . This time I was not so lucky. Placed my order for delivery for myself and hungry family, waited well past the alloted 1 hour for delivery and called"All Star" to inquire about the so called DELIVERY agreed upon not only to find that "We dont deliver to your area, it's KINDA up to the DRIVER" " We tried calling" "We did not even make your order". . . All I wanted was some pizza. Is that so hard? I already placed a nearly 40 dollar order, "investment", into "All Star" and was told no problem it will be about an hour for your delivery. Well come to find out "MAX PIZZA" down the street is 10 times better, an HOUR AND A HALF FASTER, and the delivery driver not only appreciates his well deserved tip but has the courtesy to shake your hand and say thank you. Moral of the story, "ALL STAR" magnets come off the fridge and fly into the trash with ease. Do yourself a favor and avoid the dissatisfaction and rude behavior of "ALL STAR" pizza. . . If they so...
Read moreFinally had a chance to try this place out with my girlfriend and the price is worth it (and yes they are expensive). I ordered a 14" pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms (fresh shrooms) and a 16" pizza with pepperoni and beef. Also a side order of their baked wings, and even though mild, the meat was juicy and delicious. I ordered too much unfortunately and have lots of leftovers. My suggestions for 2 people with a Netflix and chill night: just get one 16" pizza and side order of wings and you should be good. The manager told me about the fresh dough and ingredients they use, and you can definitely taste it. This is not processed pizza. You get what you pay for here. I will return. They have a table with parmesan and oregano, I suggest you use it on your...
Read moreAfter all my searching of pizza in most places I finally found the one that tastes like New York pizza! Sure there's Casola's, don't get me wrong their really good and all but not the taste I was looking for.(Least since I'm really picky) This for sure is the best pizza I ever had in Miami!
Downside is parking is kind of rough since it's hidden in a BurgerKing plaza making it completely overshadowed so makes it harder to find but I'm really glad I got to find this and try it out!
Probably the only pizza place I'll ever go out of my way to drive to, not crazy expensive either as the prices are more reasonable and give you FAR bigger slices over whatever the hot mess common food chain pizza places give.
...They even give the classic 2 slices...
