Our family's preconceived notations of pizza pies had been there are essentially four types of pizza. The first being the entry level at a 'gas station type of establishment. You know what you will spend and receive at that usually low price. The next level is a 'reliable pizza' tastes okay at an low average price, maybe even at a franchise. Next step up are usually not found at franchises, more expensive, more customization and the best tasting at a reasonable to higher price and finally are where the 'hippest' pies are found and although a big hit at a big price they fail usually quickly. Think of the old getting to close to the sun fable. I apologize for having to layout the rating scale this way but for our family it works for this Domino's almost perfectly. You expect a 'franchise' pizza however this Domino's delivers a pizza pie with more customization, better taste great service and a meal usually only found at your favorite pizza place that is not $$$-$$$$. This what pizza should be a treat the family looks forward to, not a frozen box from a grocery store. This is just our happy opinion do not take it yourself...
Read moreOrdered online. Asked for medium thin crust, under special options I asked for pie cut.
Did not get a pie cut pizza. I HATE square cut.
Manager tells me I would have to call the store next time to order a pizza with a pie cut. Seriously?!?!? It is an option on the freaking online ordering system - Myron actually tried to tell me he didn’t do the online system. Maybe actually read your orders when you get them? What’s the point of having an online system then?
I won’t even go into how our delivery driver couldn’t even read a basic address. The 5 numbers for our address were IN the address box on the pizza.
Tempted to send my husband out for different pizza from a different place.
Edit - I ended up sending my husband out for something else. If the manager had even said there had been a mistake and tried not to pass it off as something that couldn’t even be selected online (um, yes it can!), I would have just asked to have a new pizza remade or sucked it up and just ate the square cut. But the manager straight up tried to lie about it, and if he is just ignorant to which features are selectable online,...
Read moreLost mine and another customer's order in the cue. Waited an extra 45 min after the cue said ready for pickup. Watched 15 other orders get fulfilled even after the mistake was brought to their attention. Customer walks in and orders at the counter, he gets his order before ours as well. No accountability from any employees. No sign of a manager on duty. No one had any sense of ownership and wanted to avoid that a mistake was made. Look guys, mistakes happen. That's not generally what people get angry about. However if you can't own your mistakes and try to correct them and throw in a little communication with the people paying for your service? People will stop paying for that service! And "sorry about your wait" is not an apathetic apology for any service industry. I rarely give any company under 5 stars because my job demands referrals for repeat business, but something's gotta...
