My order on 10-25-2024 at 7:05 pm is estimated to take 34-49 minutes. I check the tracker at 7:05 and it shows "prep". Called at 8:10 (it still showed "prep") they said it was in the oven, and the trackers was wrong. (the manager lied) After the call the "prep" start time changed from 7:05 to 8:30. At 8:55 pm I called again and they said it left the shop and would be another 20 minutes. (the manager lied) The tracker still showed "prep." At 9:05 the tracker changed to "bake", then "delivery", and the estimate delivery time changed to 9:27. At 9:27 it said "delivered" but I didn't have a pizza. I called and the manager said he would look into to it then left me on hold for 11 minutes before hanging up on me at 9:37pm. Called right back no one answered the phone after 10 minutes. I went to report a claim on the website and it kicks me out. After I sign in again I go to report an issue and it wants to give me 20% off the order I never received so I click them "I don't want either of those offers" and it logs me out again. I go back through the process again only to be taken to the home screen when I select "I don't want either of those offers." The showed up with the pizza at 10:23 pm. I tell them I don't want it and their manager is rude. The driver asks me if I ordered a pizza. I told yes, 3 hours ago, take back I'm not paying for it. They asking me what happened. I tell them the manager lied to me repeatedly, and the website kicked me off repeatedly, and I don't want the pizza take it back I'm not paying for it. The driver asks me I called to cancel the order. I tell them I tried too but the manager was rude and hung up on me and then wouldn't answer my calls after lying to me repeatedly and now I don't want the pizza, take it back, I'm not paying for it. To which they FINALLY leave.
I don't order pizza often, but I've been loyal to Domino for decades. I'm over 50 and every time I wanted pizza I always chose Dominoes. Got there and let them know my name and I was there to pick up my order so I waited a few minutes longer, after waiting almost an hour I started to make sure that they still had my order and at this point all the employees are lost and can't find my order so I had to wait another 20 minutes just to get my pizza re-made (which they discovered they had given away)!
After all of that just this week I decided to call in my order so that by the time I got there it would be ready. I called a few times but could never get anyone on the phone. It would ring for a very long period of time hen disconnect or ring for a short period of time then hang up so at this point I am almost halfway there to see what's going on, maybe there was an issue with their phone lines is what I'm thinking. I go into the store and ask an employee what's going on with their phones (mind you the phone is constantly ringing while I'm inside and no one is answering) and all she could say is we only have 2 people and they've been really busy! Then out of nowhere some guy comes yelling at me that they took a break from answering the phones and that they needed to catch up!    Read moreMy fiancé and I ordered two pizzas from the N. Monroe location. The order was made around 10:30ish Saturday evening. According to the app it was supposed to be delivered by 11:05pm. We watched the tracker to see how far out the delivery driver was because we were cleaning up around the house and didn't want to miss the delivery. When we checked back we noticed the icon was stopped at Mission San Luis, farther way than where the driver needed to be, at least according to the GPS. The ETA jumped to a longer time. We figured, maybe it's because of detours due to storm debris or maybe the driver was making multiple stops/deliveries, so we decided to wait longer. We checked back on the app 10 minutes later and noticed the estimated delivery time jumped to 12:19am. We called the store to ask for a refund. At this point we figured the pizza would likely be cold. Instead of just offering the refund we were told that wasn't an option since the driver was already en route. We eventually got our money back but the customer service from store manager could have been better rectifying the issue. We would have been more understanding with an explanation for the delay. To be honest, we would have accepted the cold pizza if someone just could have just communicated with us rather than simply saying we can't refund you because it's already out for delivery.
