Service at this location has gone downhill in the last 6 months. I used to go here all the time for my husband's favorite butternut donuts. A couple months ago I stopped by and they told me they were sold out. The next two times I called. The first girl I talked to said, "I've never heard of that kind and I've been here for two months!" The second time I called they told me they were out of them. Then I stopped by again one afternoon and went inside. The pregnant woman behind the counter went in the back to check and told me they were sold out for the day and that she thinks I can get them at the Clermont store (you can't). About a week later, I stopped by the drive thru and was told again that they were out. I told her I had checked about 5 times and that they never had them anymore. She said it depended on what the baker makes in the morning. I asked if I could request some? At that point, the manager stepped into the conversation and very tersely said they don't sell them at that location anymore. It's a shame because they were the only store in the Orlando area that had them. I guess I won't be going there anymore. I'll drive to Lakeland if I have to. Every store in Lakeland sells them.
UPDATE: Tried this location again this morning. Went inside and stood at the counter for more than 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. There were no cars in the drive thru and only one customer at the other end of the counter waiting for her order. There were TWO employees outside in the parking lot smoking - one of them may have been the manager. I was there for coffee and a coolatta for my 4 year old. We left and went to the gas station next door....
Read moreDon’t go to this location. I’ve always gotten my coffee from Starbucks and decided to switch over to Dunkin and was new to the menu I wanted the new churro latte drink but as an iced coffee and there was miscommunication when ordering. And when i went in the drive through and the girl taking my order chuckled under her breath when I didn’t get my order right and then rather than helping me get my order right recommended something I didn’t like. I came back around thinking it was no big deal to have them remake the iced coffee and the second time they loaded it with sugar I couldn’t even drink it and by the third time I just took it and left. It was around 7pm I don’t remember her name but it was her and one other boy helping me. She handed me the drink in drive through with extreme attitude and It could’ve all been avoided if they took more time to suggest things or simply make the moment right rather than laughing at me or getting annoyed for working at a job they chose to work at. Mistakes happen and miscommunication also happens, but the customer service skills were horrible and you have to give customers grace and I did with them until they gave me nasty looks. I drove off completely upset and am definitely never making this location my regular. Staff members obviously need coaching. And the donuts were dry. Wasted time there and money and regretted going. It’s the staff that creates an experience for the customers and there’s certain ways to go about things. Again mistakes happen but looking at me like you want to strangle me over coffee doesn’t solve much especially as I was being patient with them. Maybe just quit your job. Definitely needs new...
Read moreStopped here on the way to the airport to pick up something to eat and some coffee. The line was almost to the door, but that was no worry. When we got to the register the young man operating the til was mumbling between us and a co-worker, we couldn’t tell if he was talking to us or the co-worker and we didn’t really understand in either case. We eventually understood that there were no plain bagels so he asked us what we wanted instead, we ordered one croissant instead of the bagel, and he said “so no bagels?” We said but you said there were no bagels, he said they had other bagels but no plain ones. So we understood then and asked what kind they had, I still don't know what he said but we asked if they had sesame and he said they did, so we ordered two egg, cheese and bacon bagels. As we were doing this one of the ladies from the back said there were no croissants left so the young man made an announcement to the waiting queue that there were no plain bagels or croissants left. Our coffee came quickly and except for it being only half full it was tasty. After 15 minutes one of the ladies from the back came and let me know that there were now no sesame bagels left and that they were cooking bagels and croissants. How!? I had PLACED my order and there were sesame bagels at that time. We and the family in front of us asked for our money back because we couldn’t wait any longer or we wouldn’t make it to the airport. Totally disorganized business. After reading these reviews now also, I realize that I am leaving this review for absolutely no reason because this Dunkin Donuts seems to have some serious problems with staff and in...
