I was talked to like I was the lowest form of life on the planet today at this location Wells Rd., Orange Park, Florida. Let me start by telling you I am a 45 year old woman. I have a congenital heart disease and have had 5 heart surgeries I have a pacemaker so because of my health I can no longer work. So I found myself bored sick of doing nothing so I started helping out what little I have to help the homeless in our area. We have a large community around wells road and youngerman circle. Many and most are elderly or veterans and unable to travel to downtown Jacksonville to eat everyday at the couple soup kitchens there. They are the closest and only ones around that offer meals. So everyday Dunkin donuts throw away at least 6 to 8 dozen donuts every night so my husband and I figured out the times they were throwing them out in clean bags with no other discarded trash. Fresh perfectly fine donuts. My husband have went everyday for the past 3 weeks and took those donuts and fed a lot of our veterans, the elderly and even pregnant young women. Well one of their employees came out and talked to us like dogs. He was about a 19 or 20 year old kid and he said y'all gotta stay out those donuts and I told him what were doing and he said he didn't give a explicit!!! So we walked away and He started yelling across the parking lot that we were just eating for free out of the garbage and called us worthless pieces of s^^^(explicit). He called my husband a anti-gay explict (weve been married 27 years.) We handed out donuts and coffee (which I do buy) to at least 18 to 25 homeless majority elderly people and for a lot of them all they ate all day. Well today I can't imagine what they thought when we didn't show up. It is Christmas for heavens sake. Why would a rich company like Dunkin Donuts care if someone wants to feed very hungry people Food that's getting sent to the dump?? Is really going to run them out of business to give people that wouldn't have money to buy your donuts anyway the ones you are just sending to rot. I've reached out to the local news and told them how astonished I was for being treated so horrible this morning. It's good to bring attention to things like this especially around the holidays. Merry...
Read moreWas told this morning they were out of large ice cups and only had decaf coffee when I asked for a large pumpkin spiced iced latte. It may have been true… but it was 6:45 in the morning on a Saturday. It seemed more like they just didn’t want to make it. When I ordered through the drive thru, the young girl said “um,” turned off her mic for a minute, came back saying “um” again and then stated what I listed up there. I go to this location often because of where I live and work, but I think it’s time to stop. There’s been little disappointments here and there, but I think this morning was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. I’ll sacrifice a little extra time in the morning to go to a better location from this point on. It was just a weird and disappointing interaction. I even told the girl “good luck and I really hope you don’t get any angry customers today.” Which I sincerely meant because people can be awful. But she just turned off her mic and stopped communicating at that point. I don’t know, she probably thought I was a Karen. All around...
Read moreI had previously given this location 5/5 but today my wife went there to get our morning coffee and food and there was only one employée... Yes one.. cooking, taking orders, and manning the drive thru.. this isn't a negative review BTW because my wife said this poor girl did an amazing job, the wait time was a little longer but she didn't fall behind... To the owner of this company review your records on 2/7/25 the girl that worked this morning promote her.. then check the schedule whoever else was supposed to be there fire them... This girl that was working is the type of employee you need to build your company around. Most would have complained, and done the bare minimum but whoever this employee was didn't complain, she was very apologetic for being alone, imagine an employee that is having to pick up everyone's slack apologizing for having to do sorry coworkers jobs... Great job.. my wife was pleased with your service and I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast.. recommend this place when whoever this employee is,...
