I went in with two $5.00 gift cards. My total food order came to $15.73. So I should've only paid $5.73. I was billed $25.73. Instead of using the cards, the girl made the mistake of charging $5.00 more to each card. Masks make it hard to hear so I didn't really blame her. The real issue started when the manager came to help....HA! She was awful!! She could not understand what happened and when I tried to explain she kept shutting me down with "Ma'am, I know what I'm doing. You just need to be patient!" Which, she TOTALLY DID NOT know what she was doing. The cashier also tried (I'm assuming, as they were not speaking in English) but the manager kept talking over her and would not let her speak. I tried to suggest just voiding and starting over twice. Both times I was silenced with the "I know what I'm doing" statements. Ultimately, she did a return. But THEN she told me my new total was $15.73. I, of course, responded that she needed to apply the two gift cards and she said no, she had already given me credit for them when she returned the $25.73!! I kept saying they were mine to begin with! I wanted to USE them. She could not understand. Finally I said, "Either I leave here with no food and $10 in gift cards or the food and pay $5.73." After the second time I said that her response? "Fine ma'am. I'll do you that FAVOR and only charge you the $5.73." Favor?!? It was MY MONEY! She was so rude. If I get a craving for DD again I'll make the drive to another one. I will NOT return...

Read moreThere are so many DDs in the area I live. This one has always done a good job. They have been quick and made my order correctly. Lately though it seems a lot of younger kids are working there and services has gotten very slow. My husband and I are big fans of all the on the go especially when shuffling children around. The last couple weeks we've gone in there we have been disappointed with promptness and consistency. Orders haven't been made correct and sometimes if I order on the go I start to doubt I ordered it at the right location it takes so long. Usually I go I.
