Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Florida

I will NEVER walk into this place again..I get in there at 12:30, so about an hour and a half before they close..Place is empty, so u would think theyd be fully stocked on everything..Im greeted by someone behind the counter with one of the WORST attitudes ive even dealt with..This individual obviously hated their job, me, or just people in general I guess..I almost walked out given their horrendous attitude toward me, but i took the time to drive there and was hungry..Im then told very rudely “the bagel in the egg sandwich ur talking about isnt available..” Meanwhile EVERY egg sandwich they offer is supposed to come on this special hash brown bagel..So not having that prepared is just ridiculous in a BAGEL STORE..Thats like going into burger king and ordering a whopper, and being told “oh sorry we dont have buns made for the burgers today”..I mean give me a break..So I choose a replacement bagel despite the continued attitude im getting, just for being a CUSTOMER mind you (apparently they dont like those in this place)..And minutes later im handed what could best be described as a luke warm egg sandwich, not even cut in half and just thrown together sloppily at best..So this attitude giving CLOWN couldnt even take the time necessary to cook this until it was HOT, and couldnt even cut the thing in half and take that second..Why I expected anything different after the way this person behaved initially is a mystery, and a mistake on my part. Absolutely PISS POOR experience, and this chain has lost my business for good..Word to the wise, if u people cant hire people who dont hate their jobs and everyone they encounter there? At least dont let them deal with future customers or prepare food with the same hateful, low life attitude that they treat people with..The very low rating this place has is absolutely no surprise...

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience today was unacceptable. I placed an order through Uber Eats from this location and called shortly after to request my bagel lightly toasted and to add a side of cream cheese — something I usually do since the app doesn’t allow those options.

A woman named “Shirley” (not sure if this is her real name) answered the phone and was shockingly rude. Not only did she refuse to accommodate the request, but she spoke to me with an incredibly nasty and condescending tone, as if I was a burden for politely asking. I even offered to pay for the cream cheese separately, but was abruptly told “nope” without any attempt to help or offer a solution.

It wasn’t just the refusal — it was the way I was spoken to. I’ve worked in customer service and understand policy, but there’s never an excuse to talk down to a customer like that. Shirley’s attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

If this is how customers are treated for asking a simple question, I’ll take my business elsewhere in the future. I hope management takes notes and finds a new team member to take phone calls because she has no business speaking...

My first time at Einstein. The layout of this location is pretty cramped and awkward with the way you have to order and then walk to the opposite side to pay. We came in when it wasnt busy but its scary to think of how cramped it would be if there were even 4 or 5 more customers in line. The menu has a large selection of sandwiches to choose from but doesn't really describe what is on the sandwiches. The service wasnt bad just kind of lack luster. More of just tell me what you want kind of deal. I got the crispy chicken and tator sandwich. The bagel was alright but the chicken was super dry and when I went to bite into it it was tough and didn't want to come apart thus my sandwich just became more of a hassle to eat instead of just enjoying it. I also got the blended coffee. It tasted great just it was filled halfway up the cup and the rest was whipped cream. Not really worth the $4 something I paid for it. I'd be willing to go back if I wanted just a bagel and cream cheese as I was passing by or something but otherwise just not...
