I am a delivery driver I didnt order food from here. I also hate to leave any negative reviews but this inconsideration is still bothering me. However, I waited nearly 15 minutes with 2 other deliveries lined up afterwards to not even get the order. I cancelled it because the employee said "it's coming"-you would think that means it's coming soon or one of the next ones up. Not a 15 minute wait, I would have never stayed if I knew it was going to take that long but the employee never gave a time estimate and all three workers were moving slow with no urgency. This was around 2-3 on the 18th. Thank God I didnt have anyone elses food getting cold in the car. I used to work in a restaurant as well for 3 years-this is not acceptable. At the very least give me the option to CHOOSE whether I want to wait or not when I've already wasted time/gas driving to the restaurant in the first place. We do not get paid hourly, they ignored me the rest of the time I was there, said nothing else either so I just left. Its very inconsiderate, when this happens which is rare, my hourly rate goes down from maybe $12-$16 if im lucky ($14 is minimum wage in Fl) to $7-$8 an hr-really much less considering time/gas/effort those estimates dont factor in any of that-also leaving me no time to make any wrong turns, no time to find an apartment or suite 7/8 floors up, no time to look for parking, and no time for any delays from the customer not answering/answering slow. 98% of the time when I drive to a location the order is ready or ready within another 5 minutes. It wasnt even lunch time, or crowded. I understand they could have online orders or delivery orders as well but there was other orders it seemed being made for people not there yet when I was there and had been waiting a quarter of an hour-thats just ridiculous. This also could affect my tips for the excessive wait time and like I said other orders getting cold at the restaurant that has it ready or in my car. Again i've worked in a restaurant as well i understand eat ins take priority too. The least they could do is give an update, they didnt even apologize for the wait or acknowledge me any time after I told them the order that I was waiting on. Definitely makes me want to avoid this place at all costs have some consideration for the delivery drivers, we are working too and do not get paid to be waiting there and for sure not to that extent taking up a quarter of my hour with no care at all. Read moreThe issue I have with this place is there Monday through Friday lunch the ladies that work there are excellent workers. The problem is they are overwhelmed. Absolutely overwhelmed with orders Monday through Friday. This is consent constant this is winter spring summer and fall. They are extremely extremely busy and when I come there to get my food, I am waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting by the time I get my food. My lunch is almost over And I will repeat. This is not a random situation. This is Monday through Friday continuously they need to have more help one or two more people need to be there. I blame this 100% on the owner of the restaurant. The owner is to blame. The owner is too cheap to hire one or two more people for this lunchtime rush there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever When I go to Jimmy John’s my order is always ready always ready. My co-workers and I ordered lunch through a 3rd party delivery app and the driver at first brought us the wrong order. The driver then told his company he was going redeliver the right one even though he had no intention of doing so. He decided he wasn't going to bring us our food at all at this point. Well, the manager of this location had reached out to me and kept me updated on this whole process. He then went above and beyond and brought us our order, even making it fresh again as it been awhile. Which was great because my co-workers and I were so hungry we were starting to eye each other wondering who would be the tastiest.
