Preamble: On 24-December-2021, my family and I were subjected to, far and away, the worst restaurant experience Iâd ever encountered. Unapologetic about their poor service, they were full of excuses instead of saying "I'm sorry for your terrible experience. This was my first time and my last time that I'll ever eat there. My mother thought this would have been an amazing experience because of a good experience
Seating: I was prepared for an amazing time, the restaurant was clean, the tables were prepared and they had plenty of room for us to seat our group of 10.
Drinks: We had to ask for waters instead of being offered them. The alcohol menu was never offered either and we had to request those to be brought out after several minutes of waiting with no attention being paid to our table. Even after placing our drinks orders, one of my parents was missing a drink, there werenât enough waters brought out to satiate the entirety of the table, and while the alcohol orders were fulfilled, the delta in time between requesting drinks and them arriving (over 20 minutes) was wholly unacceptable.
Additionally, instead of replenishments being offered, we had to ask to have water refilled, soft drinks replaced, and alcohol to be replenished. Iâve been through some terrible service, but nothing on the order of this.
Ordering: After waiting an additional 10 minutes or so, we were finally asked about food. In a busy, short staffed, restaurant, a 10 minute wait would be acceptable. This, however, was not the case. The restaurant was all but empty when we arrived, and by the time we ordered, not many more people had been seated. It wasnât a full house is what Iâm trying to convey.
Food: After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food to come out incorrectly. My parents were missing food items (one of which was never brought out at any time), an item was brought out twice by mistake and after they said âDonât worry about itâ they had the nerve to charge us twice for that item.
Multiple items at the table were outright prepared wrongly. Foods that were supposed to be sweet were spicy. Items that were supposed to be spicy were plain. A burger was undercooked to the point where the person couldnât even eat it, and when it was addressed, it was made to sound as if it were our fault when the order was PLACED in accordance with the personâs desired cook temp.
The only person that experienced halfway decent food was a 4 year old that wanted a pizza.
The sauces were suspiciously reminiscent of off-the-shelf sauces weâve had before. The Hawaiian Sweet and Spicy BBQ simply tasted of Sweet Baby Rays. To the point where everyone at the table was certain of this and we were convinced that if we had walked into the kitchen, weâd see a jug of each sauce sitting out.
Staff: The waitress attempted to be friendly, however never once apologized for the lack of attention to the table. She did apologize for the kitchenâs slowness but would not accept responsibility for her neglect of our drinks, order placement, or overall lack table-side manner on her part. â¨â¨The manager, when this was all brought up, simply said âoh, okayâ, and went about her night. I canât imagine how anyone, at any point, in any position of âauthorityâ, would feel that to be an acceptable response to such levels of grievance.
The kitchen staff was slow yet felt it necessary to prepare the entirety of our order twice. This lead to multiple staff members bringing out multiple repeats of our dinner at varying point throughout the 2.5 hour experience.
Overall: To repeat my preamble: My wife and I will never eat here again, my family will follow close suit and with members of our family being quite influential, weâll ensure that no one within our circle of influence (an online audience extending into the hundreds of thousands) ever makes this mistake and learns the consequence of stepping foot into ANY Island of Wing Co locations. The only consoling reassurance was that we overheard other tables complaining so at least we suffered together and not as...
Read morePoor service. Would not recommend. Our group of 6 people was as sat relatively quick and the server got our drinks with no issues. Everyone placed their meal orders and just before the server left the table, my son asked to changed his order. The server wrote down the quesadilla instead of the coconut shrimp. Well, my son's food was first to come out and it was correct. Several minutes later, everyone else in the group started getting their food. I was the last one at the table waiting for my food. Over 20 minutes goes by, the server did not return to check on our table (its 3pm and we are the only ones inside and the patio has 2 tables occupied, so not busy in any sense), and my nephew goes up to the bar to ask about my food (the server was not around). Then as my nephew sat down, the server appears and said "oh it will just take 2 seconds to put together. It will be right out." My nephew says "its nachos and an order of boneless wings, right?" The server again says it will quick. No apology, nothing. I wait another 15 minutes and at this point everyone in the group has finished eating. My nachos come out and as soon as i bite into one, they're cold. Not lukewarm, COLD. Another few minutes goes by and my nephew has to call over the server because he still has not come by and starts telling him about my food being cold and that i didn't get everything i ordered. The server has a flippant attitude and just says he'll get the manager, washing his hands of the situation. The manager comes to our table to hear the situation, but eventually took off the nachos that were cold and the boneless wings i never got. I would not recommend this establishment and the staff definitely needs retraining on customer service. I shouldn't have to eat cold food or be charged for items i ordered but...

Iâm writing to share a concerning experience I had while picking up a takeout order at your about a week ago
When I arrived and was asked for the name on the order by the person working behind the bar (whom I later found out was the General Manager), I gave the name. Due to the volume in the restaurantâbetween the music, TVs, and other guestsâI repeated the name a bit louder to ensure I was heard. My tone was not disrespectful, just clear given the noise level. Despite this, the GM responded with an offhand comment, appearing offended by my tone.
A nearby patron also made a slick remark toward me, which I ignored until I received my food. Before leaving, I thanked the staff and told the patron to mind his business. The patron began shouting at me, and the GM joined in, seemingly siding with the patron and telling me to âcome hereâ as if escalating the situation.
It was disappointing and honestly concerning to witness this kind of behavior from someone in a management position. Encouragingâor at minimum, not de-escalatingâaggressive behavior from a possibly intoxicated patron, especially toward a customer who simply came to pick up food, is completely unacceptable.
Iâm sharing this because I genuinely lie your brand and location as Im a native to the area, have seen this establishment pass the keys too two others before you., but this situation left a bad impression. I hope steps are taken to ensure customers feel safe and respected, no matter the environment. Hunters Creek is considered a safe, family-friendly community By the way the manager David I believe his name is was super professional Thank you for your time and...
