To whom this may concern,
I write to express my recent interview experience at Chick-fil-A on June 8th, 2021. As I and my family are frequent customers, I decided to ask management if they were hiring. They responded yes to my inquiry and gave me an application to fill. I submitted the application on the same day and waited. Two days later I went to follow up with the store manager, and I was interviewed that same day by Mr. Danny. Mr. Danny ended the interview by informing that he was going to talk with the others managers and then call me. I waited for a response but was never contacted regarding whether I got the position or not. Since I never got a call back or any response I decided to reach out today June 17th, 2021. I was able to speak with Mr. Danny whom explained the reason he didn’t call me was because of the availability I had placed on the application. However I reminded him that during the interview he re-visited my application and we spoke about my availability. I reminded Mr. Danny that I was fully available until the start date of my school. I reminded him that in the interview I told him that I was able to work at any time they needed me. I proceeded by visiting this store location in person which is the nearest to my home and spoke with another manager named Ms. Terry. Ms. Terry let me know she would gather information from Mr. Danny and call me back with a response. Ms. Terry called back to inform she had spoken to Mr. Danny and Mr. Danny had made a decision to not hire me due to me being a quiet candidate. I explained to Ms. Terry that I was brought up to be respectful and not to speak over someone else’s voice. I was also taught to wait for the questions before I answer. Without having a question, how will I be able to answer or speak in regards to what is being asked.
I feel strongly discriminated against for having proper manners. Having manners, or waiting for the interviewer that is not prepared to ask questions is not a valid reason to decline a job to a candidate. My family and I are disheartened at how poor employee relations is managed at this location. My family and I have a new impression about this once favorite fast food restaurant. We will make sure all of our acquaintances learn from...
Read moreThis location is terrible! I have put up with this Chick fil A for so long I am now compelled to write a review. Just about every time I go to this location (8/10 times) they mess up my order. The people who take the orders are either idiots, or are terribly hard of hearing. I think I'm going to go with the former. It is incomprehensible why they can never get things correct. If they didn't rush, goof around in the back, and put some customer care into their work, they could be a good location. Today I told them I want a number one breakfast meal, large, with a sweat tea, a chicken biscuit by itself, a butter biscuit, and another large sweet tea. The girl read me back my order without confirming the second chicken biscuit. I reiterated to her that I want another chicken biscuit and she even asked me how many chicken biscuits total I want. I told her two and a butter biscuit. I get up to the window where the girl confirms everything again and drive away. I look in the bag and what I am I missing? My second chicken biscuit! I will take responsibility for not checking my bag before I left, but after all of that--why didn't they get it right? I started to turn around and get the second chicken biscuit, but the lines where so long, it wasn't worth it. Ever since Chick-fil-A locations have decided to incorporate two lanes in their drive through, a lot of locations have gone down the tubes, and this is...
Read moreI stop at this specific one every time I leave the Orlando Airport. Tonight we had 6 people in our car and just arrived from 2 weeks abroad. We were looking forward to American food, specifically our meal on the way home. We placed the order on the mobile app and went through the drive thru. We pulled over to the area for curbside to make sure we had everything before proceeding the hour drive home. First thing I noticed is no sauces, no straws. So I jumped out and went in, upon coming back to the car we were short a sandwich. I went back in and spoke to someone, I believe a manager named Sara came to the counter and said I had the sandwich. I explained I did not have and she stated the girl remembers packing the order. I explained it’s busy (there was almost no seating inside plus drive thru line) and we didn’t have a lot of stuff in our bag and it may have been an accident and gotten missed. I was basically accused of stealing a sandwich! I did get upset as I have been on a plane for 9 hours and hunger/cranky. But this is not service I have ever received from this establishment, I will NEVER come to this one again! I can’t believe the service I received, I also plan on emailing corporate. I spent $63 on all this and still had buy another sandwich for $5.25 plus tax so my son could eat as he wasn’t given a sandwich...
