Jamrock is the best place to get Jamaican food in Miami. The staff, a mother and daughter, are very friendly and always welcoming. They treat you like family. Aside from hot food, they have also have a selection of Jamaican groceries, sodas such as cola champagne, cream soda, and your regular soft drinks that go well with your order. You can call for takeout or order right on the spot. The place itself is small and if you don’t do well in small places, I would order takeout. There usually space available for seating.

I usually come here for lunch and the food I have is always great. If I’m craving a Jamaican patty, I’ll have at least two or three. They are amazing and made fresh. If I know I can eat which is 100% of the time, I’ll get the jerk chop with chicken or the jerk chicken/pork. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes for your order to be ready. The prices are reasonable and the food has great Caribbean quality. These dishes taste great, they have good flavor and pair well with the curry mustard sauce. You’ll just keep eating until your plate is empty, that’s how great the food is. If you’re still hungry, get some patties to go or some rum cake for dessert. I tiny jem tucked away in a small storefront.Most things made to order right before your eyes.ALL FROM SCRATCH and I mean it cause I had to waite awhile for my order to be prepared. The ingredients are of the highest quality as I questioned the owner's daughter where her fish was sauced.No tilapia hiding for something else. Comes from a well-known fishery in the Keys daily.I clutched my heart in astonishment at the thought of a business not trying to ring the last bit of profit with inferior ingredients and leftover remicroved and pre-cooked chemicals. We wanted to try Jamaican food and we got lucky with this place.

We walked in and felt very welcomed. This place appeared to be a family owned restaurant, they helped us decide on our order and we chose to eat in; we were lucky to get a table, there were only two available outside only. This place is mostly a to go style restaurant.

We ordered two 1/2 order chicken curry, and one dinner curry ox tail. What tremendous portions at a great price and unbelievable flavors. Food was fresh and served quickly, there were a lot of people but mostly to take their food to go.

This is an absolute hidden gem. There is not much to the atmosphere, they serve the food in styrofoam, even if you choose to eat outside you will get your food in a styrofoam container. They also provided us with cups and cold water in a bottle to serve ourselves.
