I am going to edit this because I am unable to reply to the owner's response. When I came in I was undecided. I was asking about the platters and if they come with a salad. When you said you could do a salad with iceberg I said I wanted a soup and salad. So you did know I was open to any soup/salad combo. At first I ordered a garden salad and you said "that's the most popular one". Then I saw another salad and changed to that one. Then I was asking for recommendations on a sandwich and I asked what would keep well if I eat some for dinner and the reason was because I was going to eat the salad first and then I would not have room for an entire sandwich. You offered me a drink twice. I was satisfied at first and even left a $2 tip. Then after paying I saw the special that was over my head when I ordered. I was upset because I could have paid $5.50 for the same thing INCLUDING a drink just minus half the sandwich and that would have been perfect. But you were trying to upsell me a drink and that would have made it $13 before tip! So I'm feeling a little more ripped off the more I think about it. Yes times are tough but I will not change my review because it was my personal experience. Now when I think of this place there will be a negative connotation associated with it. My suggestions would be to put the specials where they are easily visible when you are at the counter not just when you are waiting in line a few feet behind someone looking up toward the ceiling. Also ask if people would like mayo, mustard, etc. These usually come on the side with a sandwich. Or let people know the sandwich will be dry with no condiments. Good luck to you. Original review: My first time in. Was excited to try the food but while I was waiting for my order an older woman poked her head in the door and said "what if you can't wear a mask for medical reasons?" One woman working there said "you can come in" and then FOUR people all not wearing masks walk in - two older people and two who looked to be in their 20s mumbling "we don't wear masks". I said "oh all FOUR of you can't wear a mask for medical reasons?" and the older woman said "they do it to make me feel comfortable because I can't wear one and people say things to me." So I'm not understanding how four people without one is better than 3 with and 1 without? I told the woman who works there when she gave me my food that I would not be back if they are letting groups of four people come in there without a mask. She said by law we can't force them to wear one or we can't turn them away or something. It's really a shame that a few selfish people have to ruin things for everyone. I work with cancer patients and can not be going to unsafe places and then coming back to my patients. The food was okay but nothing I couldn't have gotten somewhere else. The italian sandwich I got had no sauce or mayonnaise or anything with it. I had also mentioned when I walked in that I wanted a salad and a sandwich and was not told about the special that was only $5:50 for a small salad and 1/2 sandwich. I ended up paying $11+ for my small salad and sandwich. I wish they would have told me about it before I ordered but I saw it after I had already paid and it...
Read moreSuch a shame to be a customer every day between my husband and I literally ordering every day! And the one time I have a problem with them calling this a 15$ chicken sandwich, putting two burnt chicken tenders, between a bun . I even offered for them to keep the money and I would pay for a new meal . A burger instead because the manager kept arguing with me the costumer. about that’s how it is and no they will not make me a new meal . After I offered to pay for a new meal that’s different and him keeping the money . He stated they are closed for delivery around 1:00pm ! Wow 😮 needless to say there is a great delivery guy there and it’s just the inside staff and manager who need a refresher course on how to treat loyal customers definitely not smart for business. Lost two people over a 15$...
Read moreThe food came out hot and tasty. We enjoyed our meal and we realize this is not the same Olympia that was there before. It certainly has a different ambiance and the menu is different. However, I feel that it has great potential. When we went, they just opened a couple of days before and they are working out the kinks and finding their balance. we will be back. The food is good and it will only get better and once people realize that it is open and actually better than before, they will be back. We will wait a month or so and try it again. I can't wait to see how they improve. You should give them a try! They could use the encouragement and we could use another great restaurant in...
