Amaze Games- Port Charlotte — Attraction in Florida

The owner Kevin is an absolute phsycho.

He booked our group of 12 for the wrong day, which he admitted. The place was closed when we showed up. His employee was sent from home to open it for us but could not get the rooms working and we waited 1 hour before Kevin finally showed up to troubleshoot the systems. Another half hour later we finally got into the rooms. Our total was $353.55. When I completed the survey of my experience through his business portal this was Kevin's response sent to my email.

I offered your group a full refund initially and gave you a $60 discount just to be helpful when you were initially booking. The fact that you feel you deserved more than this for something that is out of my control is absolutely unbelievable. Ungrateful doesn't even begin to describe you. Please refrain from booking with us in the future. I cannot believe people like you exist.

This guy has created a new low for poor customer service. Don't waste your money on a place where the owner speaks to...

Our family really enjoyed the experience. If you get the Groupon I suggest you call first and get ALL the details. Also be sure to study the fine print on the Groupon page. Lots of hoops to jump through. My wife and sister in-law of course missed some of the fine print and we could not use our Groupon. The lady was nice enough to give us $5 off per person but we ended up spending a bit more than we expected to. Also our Groupon was extremely hard to cancel for some reason. It kept coming up with an error page and we had to have them call us and then spend time chatting with someone on Groupon to finally get it cancelled and get our money back. (Took us over an...

Strongly disagree with the previous review. After seeing and reading this we wanted to see and try for ourselves. After arriving early and my daughter being very indecisive, and the employee being very patient with her. We entered our room and played it,(several hints were needed, and given when seen struggling). We eventually got through it and my undecisive and questioning everything 10 year old now wants to do every escape room there is out there... if that doesnt tell you about the experience we had idk what will.
