La Casita Salvadoreña — Restaurant in Florida

Highly recommend this place. I was looking for something different for lunch and a coworker asked about trying this place. We were both pleasantly surprised how good the food was. We now eat here at least once a week for lunch and I come one every other week for dinner.

I recommend this place for the price and food. I have been back multiple times  to try some more of the food. The servers dont hover the table trying to rush you out the staff is friendly and nice, the owner is onsite for dinner (Amazing guy really cares about what you think). There are two sides to the restruant one feels more like a restruant (nice for dinners) the other like an eat in take out place (great for lunch). Both get the same great food in amazing portions.

Too many things to list to recommend to try top favorite if I have to pick is the Parrillada La Castita and Snapper Con Camaron AL Limon for dinner and for lunch Bistec De Pollo or Chuletas de Puerco also any of the Soups.

The Camarones Salvadoreños I ordered to go was out of this world good. The shrimps/Prawns were very large and very fresh! I have been searching for other restaurants serving the same fresh shrimps ever since and have yet to find any that matched. The portion was pretty hefty. I got rice and pupusas on the side and it was very filling for the price. The wait staff was great, very friendly, especially attentive to someone who doesn't speak Spanish! One thing that is memorable about this dish is that even after 20 min of driving back to hotel, the food was still piping hot, and once the lid is open, you can smell the aroma of sauce... The garlic, the tomato slightly tossed oil and mixed in herbs... all that just coming out of the dish, wow, it was beyond expectation! I highly recommend these guys! I would definitely go back and try out their other dishes! Ambient was very family friendly, at least for the time I was there waiting...

My family & I (6 adults/ 3 children, total of 9) went to eat on the 4th of July. This is a restaurant we have been going to for YEARS. One of the favorite places to eat at while in town. Everything was fine till mid way receiving our food, we saw a cockroach. We kept an eye on it as it crawled all through the restaurant. I told two servers, 1 said “ouiii” & the other said they fumigated that morning so they’re “coming out & dying”. Not once did the owner/manager come to apologize. Nothing was compensated. So after paying $66.04, I made a comment about how it would have been nice for someone to explain things, the owner came & apologized & said it’s normal for roaches to come out & die, we just fumigated so sorry. I would have been more considerate if accountability & communication was a main priority from the owner.
