I am so glad to have found the "Largo Pizza" restaurant, (Starkey Road). I have eaten there about 9 or 10 times in the past three months; a few times through takeout, but mostly by delivery. They have daily specials and also coupons on their website menu. I have tried three different items from them. The baked spaghetti, which has a good flavored sauce....not too sweet...not overly seasoned. Abundant amount of cheese on top. You also get a salad and garlic bread. I also have tried the chicken parmesan and spaghetti. Chicken is a generous portion. It's tender and goes very well with the spaghetti. The last food item that I have had is their pepperoni pizza... And it's very good. The bottom of the pizza's dough is rolled thin, so when it bakes, it has a really nice texture to it. The crust has a rounded edge and a nice crisp on the outside of the crust, but soft on the inside. The pepperoni has medium level flavor. It's not too spicy and it has that slight crisp around the edges of the pepperoni. They give you very generous portions of food, enough for a leftover snack or another meal, of course, depending on the meal. I really need to mention that the employees are friendly and polite.... From the moment that you call to place an order to the delivery person who brings it to you... They greet you with a smile and they thank you for your purchase. My food is always delivered fresh and hot. The prices are very reasonable. And something that is really nice... As of the date of this review they only charge $1 for delivery.... That's right $1. I like this place so much, I have not been disappointed in either their service or their food. I even call them after I had my dinner to let them know how much I liked it. There's a lot of different pizza places out there to choose from, but if you would like a great pizza that manages to stay greasy free...and have an abundance of cheese & toppings....order from here. It may not be some artsy cuisine pizza... But when you want to sit around watching movies with your family or your friends or watching a football game... This is the most reasonably priced pizza around here...
Read moreGreat Pizza, BUT VERY BAD attitudes. I have been a customer of Largo Pizza for a long time, I've spent plenty of money there and told many friends about the place. The Pizza is always hot, fresh, and tasty. In fact I would have given a higher rating it I was basing my review strictly on the pizza...however twice now the people running the place have been extremely rude to me and my family so I really doubt I'll ever go back. Once they delivered pizza's to my daughter (a minor) we ordered pepperoni and they sent us cheese. When my daughter called to inform them of the mistake they were very rude to her stating that she was wrong, that they had sent pepperoni. Then when I called they were yelling and rude to me also, they would rather argue and lose customers than just fix their mistakes. Umm...I'm pretty sure it's obvious when pepperoni is missing from a Pizza! The past time I ordered extra extra crispy chicken wings (the same way I order them from anywhere)... but they were soggy. I spent over $20 for a quick meal (and tipped them) so yes I wanted them the way I ordered them. When I called, I was told they were cooked long enough and "how much crispier do I expect"??? Well if you order chicken wings extra extra crispy the outside of them should be CRISPY not soggy. None of this would've been a big deal if they just would have been kind to me about their mistake and not argumentative. I had already left there and was nearly home by the time I realized they weren't made right and with a tight schedule I wasn't going to drive back over there and wait another 30 minutes for them to be remade which was they only offer that was given to me. I'm not sure why I should be inconvenienced when my food that I paid for wasn't made the way I requested. They should have offered me a credit to use next time like any other Pizza place would have (especially if they valued my business) It's too bad that they have such poor customer service because I typically like the food. Their attitudes just kind of ruin the whole...
Read moreI've never dealt with such an unorganized establishment that is supposed to deliver pizza. I usually had no issues with this company but for some reason they have taken a turn for the worse. I put in an order for two calzones, 15 minutes later they inform me they do not take American Express. So I call them back and give them my Visa information expecting to get the calzones. Exactly 1 hour in 15 minutes later I get a call from Largo pizza informing me that I would not get the pizza unless I gave them a different credit card because they don't take American Express. So I tell the manager I already called back over an hour ago and gave the call taker the new credit card information. In the background I can hear the call takers stating I called him back twice. Which is a complete bold face lie. They called once which is when I called them back and gave them the new information. My question is why do you wait till almost an hour and a half after the order has been placed to see if the customer still wants the food that they ordered. It's completely obvious that somebody which is most likely the call taker drop the ball and did not put in the information when I called back. The most aggravating thing about the entire order was the attitude the manager had with me on the phone about the Order not having a credit card for charge. I'm all about supporting smaller restaurants for business because of bigger franchises but if you don't know how to treat your customers you're not going to do well as a company. After having this happen I will no longer order from this company and would advise others to not expect good...
