Delicious Food, Confused Service
Treviso is a few months old, and this was our first visit. It’s located in a space that was another Italian restaurant for many years and they’ve spruced it up a bit.
Overall, the food was very good. We started with the Bruschetta appetizer and it was one of the best I’ve had. The salads should have been served as the next course but were brought on top of the appetizer. I requested that our entrees not be brought until we finished our salads. The Caesar salads were quite good and the restaurant was generous with the dressing.
Unfortunately, the entrees arrived when we were only halfway through our salads. And my entrée was not what I ordered. The server said that she would re-order my entrée and that I could take home the incorrect entrée, which was nice of her. My wife had the lasagna which was very nice but a little dry. I ordered a side of marinara, but it never came. In the meantime, my Penne alla Vodka with ham, shrimp and mushrooms arrived and it was delicious. Accompanying the food was complimentary garlic bread which was great.
We had leftovers of our entrees and bread and the extra entrée. Overall, the food was great and the prices very fair. While our server was sweet and kind, a little better organization would help Treviso—a lot.

What a Shame
The owner replied to my review above by stating that he had taken care of the service issues and asked me to give them another try. I gave it a few months and then decided to visit again.
There was a party of 2 at a table when I arrived. The only other business was an occasional person picking up a call-ahead order. So, they weren’t busy. Unfortunately, the same service issues persisted, and the food got worse!
I ordered soup and a side salad and a pasta. I clearly asked the server to bring them in three courses and not at the same time. The salad arrived while I was halfway through the soup and the pasta came while I was barely into my salad. This isn’t hard—especially when business is so slow.
As for food, the two items that were so good before—bruschetta appetizer and penne ala vodka with ham, shrimp and mushrooms entree—were no longer on the menu. When the server took my order I said I wanted to start with the soup. He asked which one—an odd question since there is only one on the menu. I asked if there was another and he said no. The soup was bland and had no richness to it. The side salad was very nice and quite large. For the entrée I asked for the penne ala vodka with sausage and red peppers. It was also surprisingly bland and probably the worst penne ala vodka I’ve ever had. The “sausage” was long, thin strips that I’m sure was gyro meat, not sausage. I took most of it home where I can work on some spicing to improve it.
The confused service remains and the food got worse. I won’t be going...
Read moreI have been a customer at Trevizo since they opened. There is a great relaxing atmosphere and I’m always greeted warmly.
Each time I try a new dish I am amazed at the quality, taste and presentation. So far I’ve tried several different pizzas, pasta dishes and sandwiches.
Today I stopped in and ordered off the lunch menu. There were so many great deals, it was hard to choose, but I decided to go with the Italian Panini and soda deal. What a great deal it was! The sandwich was huge and enough for two people to share. This is no ordinary place. The bread is made on site and you can taste the freshness!
Their pizzas are my absolute favorite. Whenever I have company over and everyone is hungry we always order from Trevizo! Normally I don’t like pizza crust (I just throw it away), but when I have Treviso pizza I always eat the crust. Also the pizza sauce is so delicious, I order extra just for dipping crust!
Overall, I would give Trevizio my highest rating! The owner Taso is super friendly and the cooks and servers are also top-notch! I absolutely love the food and the...
