I got 2 sandwiches here today for lunch after leaving the Lowe’s across the street from Larry’s. When I got home which is about 25 minutes away from the location, my wife found a long strand of hair in her sandwich. I called and mentioned the hair and the lady that answered the phone said oh that must be from Alicia. She said that they do their best to not have anything like this happen. I suggested maybe wearing a hairnet. She said they aren’t required to wear them or gloves which seems to be odd to me. Thank God they did have on gloves. She offered to remake the sandwich. I asked her for a refund instead and she said that I can’t have a refund but they can remake the sandwich. So after driving back to the location with the hair in a napkin as well as the two sandwiches, explaining the long drive there and back home, the lady only responded by saying yes sir and that they will remake the sandwich. She didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience of my return trip or anything. Neither I nor my wife will go back to this location and I highly recommend that others do the same, if only for the health concerns. I also stopped by Jersey Mike’s and got two sandwiches because I didn’t feel comfortable eating the remade sandwiches. So basically I wasted my money at Larry’s on State Road 200 in...
Read moreWhoever was working last night, Monday, 7/31 at 6:30pm, give them a massive raise. I’ve had Larry’s from over 20 locations if not more, I’ve eaten every option on the menu and o constantly praise Larry’s over any sub shop in Florida. For years I’ve said St Simons Larry’s is the best, and I still hold them to high standards, but whoever made my sandwich at the yulee location last night put some love into it. Massive amount of flavor, held up on the toppings, and they close at 7…so usually someone rushes through the close you nah…not this guy. He’s an artist with the lettuce let me tell you. Idk what he did different in the Greek veggie, and maybe I was just hungry or something, but dang that sub hit different. I’m thinking about it still the next day. I’d like to know who made it so I can give them a huge tip or kudos or something. Unfortunately I took it to go so I couldn’t praise the master when I realized I was eating a slice of paradise. But here...
Read morePaid nearly 12 bucks for a chicken parm hero... not complaining about the 12 bucks, but I am complaining about what I got for it -- a hero, lightly filled with with thin cut pieces of un-coated chicken breast (which was tender), topped with a small amount of tomato sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese... this is not how chicken parmesan is made. It's supposed to be breaded chicken cutlets, topped with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce and baked until cheese melts. I thought it was odd, when I got it 3 mins after ordering it - now I know why. Not sure how you can sell/serve/name something, that isn't what you say it is... and charge top dollar for it to boot. It also didn't fill me up, which is something a foot long hero should do (and I'm not s big guy)... I can't imagine who the smaller sandwiches would satisfy. Maybe a good place for a cold cut sandwich, but I won't be returning...
