We were enjoying spring break in St. Augustine and wanted to try some of the restaurants and shops on George St. I read the reviews about this place and a lover of pineapples I thought I would give it a try. My nephew got the cotton candy dots (not sure of the name). I asked the cashier what’s the most popular, she said the pineapple float. I didn’t want that so I asked which was better the plain pineapple or the pineapple-vanilla swirl. She recommended the swirl. The flavor was really rich. The first taste was good but I got cloyed quickly. I would recommend the swirl if you’ve never had pineapple ice cream before as the vanilla adds a little balance to the tangy punch. Just got 2 vanilla cones dipped in chocolate. But the first thing was it says under the flavors mix 2 and I wanted chocolate and vanilla but it wasnt available. They really only have pineapple and vanilla or chocolate and strawberry. I know those flavors are good but why not have chocolate and vanilla option I would think it would be more popular. The girl who runs the register is RUDE. My toddler changed his mind BEFORE I paid, and I asked if I could switch his dip n dots to a slushie. She said well this is already ready. I said, so can I not change it? And she reluctantly said she would, then proceeded to run her mouth to the other employee in the shed. I said if you’re going to be rude about it, I don’t need to order anything. She said that’s fine. So I left. I had been there once before. Sub par service but the food and ice cream were good.
