We got there on a cold Nov evening price were average, looks authentic. We asked to be seated inside, 4 in our party and would be a 20 min wait but we would be next in line. Sat at an ouside table to wait for the indoor table. A waitress came over with menus, told her we were waiting for an inside table, her reply she was working on it, ok so we ordered drinks . Getting chilled at this point..... Next we were asked to put our order in told her we did not want to eat outside again told it was being arranged. Then we see a group of six guest enter and get seated inside. When we enquired were told, they had been ahead of us mews to us. So wait some more another waitress comes out with our dishes now i am irate we saw some gest leave and tables displaced inside yet no offer to move us comes, our dishes cooling off rapidly we ate! Then two third through our waitres comes around and asks how were things? No mention of the empty tables inside. Now food getting frigid we are ready to leave and find a warm place to thaw out. Food was decent service and staff the worst ever would not...

Bull & Crown Publick House Honest Review

Me and my mom went here one day to eat some lunch. We waited 20 minutes like our server said, then went up to her because there were some tables empty. She said that those tables were for the people at the bar inside. She said to wait 15-20 more minutes. We waited, only to find out she was looking for an extra chair. Once we were finally seated, she asked what we wanted to drink, and I ordered a water. About 5 minutes later, she came by with my mom's drink, without my water. My mom asked if she could bring the water, and the waiter said she will ask for a water. 10 minutes passed by. At this point, we were irritated. My mom went to the inside herself, and bring me a cup of water. She did this in about a minute. Ridiculous Service. I bet my mom would be employee of the month because of bringing me a water. Then, my mom needed to go to the bathroom, only to find out there was no bathroom. Strange service, although the food was pretty good. Please know that if you are going to order fish and chips, the chips are actually...

When we first arrived the hostess assured us she could accommodate a large party. We waited patiently for 30 minutes to be seated, party of 11. The hostess was so incredibly rude; she was unnecessarily yelling at everyone. She seated half of us at a cramped, dirty sticky picnic table. Then proceeded to bark orders at our other half-making them wait. Even though there was an empty table right next to us that would have accommodated our other half nicely. She refused to allow us to sit together and with her drill sergeant voice marched the rest of our party inside. When we requested to sit together at this empty table she yelled at us again that someone else was waiting on that table. Obviously, however, a decent hostess would have worked it out-not react the way she did.

We never got a chance to try the food because most of us were so offended by her attitude and unprofessional demeanor, we made a mass exodus.

Very sad.

Tried to speak to the manager, but he did not seem to care. He took no interest resolving this...

My family and I ate here for dinner while visiting St. Augustine for nights of lights. Every restaurant had a wait of over an hour. We randomly picked this one. I ordered the chicken pot pie over the chicken sandwich at the recommendation of the waitress. My husband got the shepherd's pie and my kids got chicken tenders. My pot pie came out with the crust not fully cooked. When I stuck my fork into the crust the dough was stretchy. The filling was delicious but there was hardly any in it. It was the smallest portion of pot pie you could imagine. My husband's sheppards pie was fully cooked but again, under the mashed potatoes was only 1/8 inch of meat. My kids enjoyed their tenders. I saw a chicken sandwich at another table and it looked so good; I had major food envy. I would not eat here again or recommend this place to anyone. There is a lot of options downtown, choose somewhere else.

TOURIST TRAP WARNING, please don’t eat here unless you’d like to pay restaurant prices for school cafeteria quality food. If I could give one star, I would. This place is the epitome of a tourist trap. Got the ham sandwich which is supposed to come with onion apple jam, it did not. There was a small slice of grocery store ham and a single Kraft slice of cheese. This reminded me of a sandwich you’d get off the children's menu. You pay restaurant prices for less than diner quality food. My wife got a burger which was on a stale bun and overdone patty. We’ve had a bad dining experience here before, but since it’s convenient and right in the middle of st. George street thought we’d try it again, bad idea. Just a truly Crappy place. Staff is not great either.
