Lupita's is located at the BP gas station on the northwest side of the intersection of I-10 and North Davis Highway in Pensacola, Florida. It is an old cargo truck converted into a small Mexican Fast Food dining establishment. The setting is outdoor and picnic table casual. This was my first visit. I ordered the California Pork Burrito: $8.00. It is served stuffed with grilled onions, beans, boiled and shredded pork on a large flour tortilla. I had mine made without cilantro. About fifteen minutes after ordering it was served in a Styrofoam container and plastic bag with a small amount of two sauces. All of their drink choices cost $3.00 each. Do yourself a favor and go into the BP convenience store and by a $0.69 bottle of filter water instead. My meal was served without any eating utensils. I had to ask for them. At my table under the canopy I sat. There were no other condiments available. My burrito was large but there was something lacking with the flavor. I regarded it as o.k., but I would never order it again. Lupita's has many other choices on their menu and I don't want to discourage anybody about giving them a try. I probably won't be...
Read moreI'm not usually one to leave reviews on places but this place NEEDS more recognition. I've lived right down the road to it for a year and always overlooked it because its never busy when I pass by on my walks so I assumed it wasn't good. I am happy to say, I was SO WRONG. El Asador down the way is good if you want a massive amount of food for cheap, but without the sauces it's kind of bland. The food at this place also comes with a side of sauces but you really don't need them! The dishes are wonderfully seasoned and also decent sized with quality ingredients that make the price so worth it. I only regret not giving this place a chance sooner, but I'll definitely be going back from now on when I'm craving a great authentic Mexican dish!...

I wish I took a photo of my California burrito, but I was starving and it was delicious. It was easy to customize but I do wish the ratio of veggies, rice, and meat were a bit more proportionate and evenly distributed. Some bites were pure rice, and the meats were a bit difficult to find. Albeit, I went about 2 hour before close so I didn't get them at their prime, especially cause they had run out of their salsa verde by then too. The service was kind and efficient, the prices are definitely affordable and the parking was tight but manageable given it...
