Unfortunately my kid is addicted to chicken nuggets..! ...so I've come to know this place well.
Always clean and curious I'd have to say you couldn't expect any more from a drive-thru fast food, especially one next to interstate highway 95!**
At the busiest times for fast food, breakfast and lunch I suppose, their A-teem is working and there are two speaker boxes taking orders to add to it's peak efficiency. They have a free If order takes longer than policy at these times (I forget how many minutes but it's quick) and even if you see a long line of cars you won't have to wait long because they are flowing as swiftly as possible. If you go, say around 6p.m. though, and even if they're not very busy you can expect maybe a third of the time to have to pull into "space #1 or 2" to wait an extra minute or 2 but it's literally 60 to 120 seconds usually and they will walk your food out to you. It may be 5 minutes or a little longer if there are multiple vehicles in the line. I'd recommend you double check your order is all there when you get it at this hour too but you should do that ANYwhere EVERY time and IT IS RARE that anything is missing and there is zero pushback when you request whatever it is. They may even give you a cookie or pie something free.
I was going to give 4 stars but I'm back to 5 because these faults are extremely within reason. That evening time shift is likely the most logical time to train newbies, especially because they may have school and need to sleep the rest of the day and if I ever encounter someone who is not fit for working the window or behind the counter, I either don't see them there again or one or two will have been noticeably reformed next visit.
Oh, the food and atmosphere is 5 stars? IT'S MCDONALD'S!!! You know what to expect from a fast food chain so I based my rating on THOSE standards. Obviously it's not lobster therma-whatever but it's the best quality compared to other McDonald's or like franchises, k? And the people at the window are nice and will remember you if you come again. Alright? Lol...
**They're technically open 24 hours but it is important to note for anyone who can't afford to lose time while travelling up or down I-95 that there is a considerable wait time for ANYTHING during graveyard shift hours. I don't blame them because customers are few and far between so they can only justify paying a couple employees but people should have a heads up if time is a factor in their travels. **A positive for travelers though: if you're in need of a repetitively safe place to park and sleep (even for longer than 24 hours if your reasonable about it) I actually asked if it was Okay before I did when circumstances required me to need such lodging once apon a time. The manager was shockingly magnanimous and even made sure to tell me I'm welcome to use the bathrooms or come in to refill a drink as long as it was paid for...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I had ever had at a McDonald's (store #7004). I ordered four meals for my family and me, for which I paid over $40.00. Because it was such a big order, I checked to make sure it was correct. Unfortunately, the nuggets were missing. I informed the server, and she told an elderly lady who asked her what was wrong. The lady came closer, and I explained to her what was wrong. She started to be very disrespectful by saying I didn't order the nuggets. I asked her why I had four fries and four drinks and only three meals. She continued to say I didn't order the nuggets or that her workers didn't ring me up for the nuggets. I told the lady that the cashier did ring me up, and she started to walk away and continued to argue. I told her she was very disrespectful and to have some manners. I asked the server for the lady supervisor, and she said that the lady is the supervisor. The so-called supervisor now demanded that I give her the meals I had received, which I did as she continued to utter words to her other junior workers about the situation. During this time, another individual came to the window and asked me what was going on. As I explained, she went and checked the order list while I was looking at my receipt. She then confirmed the nugget was on the order, as I confirmed on my receipt as well. This young lady rectified the problem. Supervisor Lish, if you are reading this, you received a grade of F for that day. As a supervisor, you should know better than that. First, you have a procedure that you should use in a situation like this. You could have checked the order or asked to see my receipt. It shouldn't take one of your junior workers to do this; she should be the supervisor, not you. Second, you were talking to your juniors about the problem, making me look like I was in the wrong and you were the one who was wrong. Third, you doubted your team by saying that they didn't ring up the order, which they did. Lastly, I came inside to pick up my fries, and you didn't even apologize for being wrong and arguing in front of my family over food. If the owner of this establishment is reading this, I recommend Lish be removed from her supervisory position and be demoted to chashier. She needs more training in customer service, attitude adjustment, and how to rectify a problem. I know you provide jobs for the community, but this lady will make you lose more customers because I will never come to your establishment again. I only gave one start because zero was...
Read moreThis location is atrocious. I have family visiting from another country. They have accents. Yes they are bilingual. I doubt the manager at this location has the acumen to be bilingual. Anyways, all the children wanted was to have “American McDonalds.” My wife has an accent. She tried to order food and was told 3 of her credit cards were declined. While she was there, unbeknownst to McDonald’s at the time, but “knownst” (that’s from Spaceballs) to me, I quickly checked with Amex about my purple card or her purple card being declined. Amex said no declinations. She was also told her Marriott card was declined (which is when i knew her experience was BS), and she was forced to use a debit card (because those can’t be declined unless there’s no money). I called (i have no accent and i know racism, prejudice and bigotry when i see it or hear about it) and spoke to a manager named “Sean” or “Shawn.” I told her the line was recorded because it was and Florida is a two-party state. I told her the situation, and she literally ignored me. There was no significant noise in the background and i could hear activity so there won’t be any lying to weasel one’s way out or make excuses. My suspicion is she is the one who interacted with my wife directly and knew she was caught and busted. So i will go there in person to confirm my suspicion as to WHO the perp was (she doesn’t know what I look like) and take it from there. But ask yourself this. Do you want to do business with a franchise that operates this way? I will be taking this up directly with corporate since the “manager” if “managing” is what you call her behavior, has made it difficult to contact the owner. I’m not huge on social activism, but I pay my taxes, have perfect credit, and no one in my family will be bullied or treated this way whether its this franchise’s policy or a rogue uneducated bigot. It’s unacceptable in the USA to treat people this way. Period. There’s NO excuse. It’s atrocious. I will never spend another dollar here. I ended up spending 90 bucks at Burger King. Now the kids like Burger King LOL....
