We ordered to go from Moe's. I had multiple people pick out what they wanted and thought it would be convenient to pay on line and grab a nice dinner.... boy was i wrong. Two bowls and a two taco meal. I drove there about 25 minutes, my order was ready. I was going to put it a cooler to keep it hot but I saw two bowls and no tacos. I went back in. The workers were all goofing around. The one young man stated he made the tacos and they are "under the chips" so I had to stick my dirty hand in the bag to verify the tacos were there. I was pretty upset but okay and put the food and jetted off. Then I got home. My child said the tacos tasted like crud. My husband opened his bowl and started getting mad. Asked what I ordered, he ordered a steak bowl and mine chicken. The steak bowl was missing shredded cheese, Pico de Gallo, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and added queso. He also paid for extra steak and there like 2 pieces on the whole bowl. Then I checked the chicken bowl, I was missing mushrooms and cheese. The whole meal was trash. I tried to call the store multiple times. It put me on a 5-6 minutes hold, then a voice mail. They had a selection for catering. Convenient that a lady picked up and told me that I should go back to the store. I was not wanting to drive all the way back out there. This disaster has already taken a hour of drive time and 30 minutes on the phone. Then I continued to call the store at 301 in riverview, fl. Finally someone answered and transferred to a "manager " named Joel, who was reluctant to even provide a name, he proceeded to tell me that he was going to do anything and I needed to call back the next day. I had to make a pizza for dinner. This was a horrible experience and I will not be going to Moe's ever again!!!! Worst experience ever!!!!! This is worst than McDonald's. I should of went there, at least they admit their mistakes...
Read moreEEWW!!!!!!!! Holy crap what a DUMP!! they had a handful of chunks of old meat festering in the bottom of buckets and they were glad to use it had I let them but opted to wait for fresh food. Well, they don't have that here. Gone are the flat tops. Gone is the real steak, now it's some prepackaged meat they put in air fryers. That's a company wide poor decision, but this location specifically was purely disgusting. They had nothing left in the make table, and they were completely dead. There was no one eating. How they were out of everything I don't know, perhaps the two miserable looking employees don't care? Let's not even pose it as a question because this location hasn't cared since its doors opened. It just continues to try and one up itself on how bad it can be. The pico looked so old and off color as to be revolting. Taco meat was black not brown. Lady placed the flour tortillas on foil and started making the food, then kept leaning over to reach the back of the bins (beans, that were empty) and her belly would press on and drag across the tacos in front of her. No welcome to Moe's, music sucks, no classic rock, can't really hear what it was. Restaurant is filthy as hell. Bad food, unsanitary, nothing available on the make table at 4:45pm on a Friday. A customer came in and went to the register and no one would acknowledge or help her. Eventually I told the employee to please go help that poor lady or acknowledge her. Myself and the other customer gazed at each other with an unspoken look of "this place is a total dump" while slowly shaking our heads. Myself and the two people I came with decided to just leave without food, sparing ourselves from wasted money and food borne illness....

They were not busy and we stood there a bit to even be recognized. My daughter ordered a Buritto with Chicken and it looked pretty good. I attempted to be friendly by commenting on the employees rolling skills, it is hard to do and it looked perfect, she looked annoyed and said she trained and went to school to learn that. Okay, might be friendly sarcasm, her expression said otherwise.
The burritto we ordered came with guacamole on it and my daughter asked for it on the side. The cashier was indifferent, unfriendly, and when I asked about her side of guacamole, the cashier said to someone on the line ( not us ) " I didnt charge her for that, its extra" My daughter replied it's not extra.
We sat down and no guacamole is in our bag. My daughter went and asked for it from the girl who made her burrito and the cashier left her post to go complain about my daughter not paying for the guacamole. I could hear her from where was sitting. At this point I'm past offended and I went to the front and politely said " Just to confirm, the guacamole comes with the burrito we ordered and is not extra, correct?"
I can't even express how awful this experience was. The buritto was good, not great, however having people that treat customers like this does not make me feel comfortable about their food quality and food handlng. Pride and care are important ingredients in a restaurant.
Please know your menu, the guacamole was free, just on the side and even if it wasn't, $1.29 to be so rude is not okay.
The reason this is 2 stars and not 1 star is because the open salsa options concept for the chips they make...
