New York Pizza Express — Restaurant in Florida

This by far the worst NY style pizza I have ever had. My order was for a pick up, which included a special 2 large 2 topping pizza with a 2 liter soda. Went to pick up my order at the designated time only to arrive and find the door propped open with a table and a guy helping someone at the door who's order wasn't delivered to their hotel. During this time I noticed a mountain of pizza boxes all stacked to the ceiling in what should be the lobby or area where you walk in to order. This place was not set up like a normal restaurant. There wasn't a counter to pay at, just another table across from the pizza box mountain with a cc machine. I should have known then that the food couldn't be good if the restaurant couldn't even afford to set up the front of the store where patrons would be. So while still helping the couple that didn't receive their order, more people came up and eventually the couple went from standing by the table outside to the lobby area inside and these other people who just arrived followed. I stood by outside and watched the person that was helping the couple, now starting to help a young lady that walked up after me so I walked inside as well thinking I would get my order and leave since I had already been outside while he was helping the couple and it was already paid for....but no, this guy literally started helping the guy that walked up after the young lady and I couldn't believe it...so I had to let him know that I was there before these people and that he was not going to skip me. So I got my order and left, only to go home and see that my pizza looked and tasted like a 6 year old made it! The pizzas were trash and had no taste whatsoever. My chicken and cheese pizza had chicken pieces that look like someone just randomly threw them on the pizza and the cheese pizza just tasted weird. Never again will I support this place as it looks like trash and it serves pizza that equally tastes like trash. Save your money and your taste buds and go...

Really wish I would have read the reviews before ordering here. Started just about like everyone else where it took over an hour to get to our hotel. We ordered one pepperoni pizza with wings and a 2 liter of coke. The guy showed up and said he needed to write our card number down because that's how they do things (even though we paid online) I was really hesitant but then the code in the back of the card was faded so he ended up writing the wrong code down to begin with (we knew it but didn't tell him the correct one for obvious reasons) well he left and we opened our stuff and it was some disgusting looking pizzas... 2 pizzas that looked awful that I didn't want. I only like pepperoni pizza. So I called and told them and also asked about them writing my card number down and they claimed they ripped it up and got rid of it. They were supposed to be bringing me the correct pizza after about 10 phone calls from 4 different numbers (2 of them called me from their personal phones) they delivery called and said "you can just keep those pizzas it's a much better deal and we won't charge you for them" I told him all I want is my pizza and he said "well I will be there in about an hour then" so I called the actual store back and the guy claimed he would be there in 5 minutes so I told them not to waste their time that I would bring all their food back and they could give me my money back. We get there and see that first they did not destroy the paper with our card number on it they slightly crossed it out. So the kid goes to give us a return and ends up charging our card 30 more dollars so then had to do a double refund. All in all an awful experience and I hope everyone reads reviews before going there because I know I now will because of...

BUYER BEWARE!!! Check out "Bay Pizza and Dinners" on Tripadvisor, same place looks like they changed their name. Awful in every way. Avoid at all costs. Go to IHOP, or call Dominos. 1 star is too many. Waited almost 2 hours for cold food. I was offered a $5 discount on a $30 order. I called at 8:52 for pizza and wings, the girl who took my order told me it would be about an hour or less to be delivered to the Best Western. At 10:37 finally a knock on my door. I explained to the driver who was SUPER nice and doesn't deserve to be spoken to harshly that a near 2 hour wait was unacceptable, and I wanted to know why no one had called me. He did not have an answer. I should have sent the food back, but I was starving. I feel like ownership plays into people being tired after a game asking for a delivery to a hotel, and not from the area so they aren't worried about repeat business. It feels like a "Take care of the hotel crowd last" type of experience.

Regardless of it being cold, the quality was awful. I have had better pizzas out of the freezer from Walmart. As far as the wings, I was asked if I wanted them crispy. The wings skin had the texture of maybe like a rubber band. Very tough and chewy. I don't understand why they'd even ask how I wanted them. Other than the delivery driver being excellent at calming me in the situation I can't say a positive thing about this experience. If the driver wasn't who he was with is excellent customer service skills I would have sent him away without taking the food.. Don't just order food because a menu was left under your door at the hotel. No matter how tired you are after attending a football game in the hot Florida sun check the reviews, and avoid this place...
