Extremely disappointed. Little back story because I already know they will try to spin this review: Hair was done Saturday morning and was there for 4.5 hours. I hadn’t had my hair done in 3 years, since before I had my kid, so was excited about finally doing this. Got home around 3pm and started getting ready to go to dinner. Didn’t play with my hair too much but knew I wasn’t thrilled with it. I didn't like how stripy it was on my bangs or when I put it in a bun. So I called them on the way to dinner and told them I didnt like how it looked and if I could come in to have it touched up, that maybe highlights wasn’t what I should have asked for. At this point, I had made it clear it wasn’t the stylist fault I just really didn’t like it. However, Sunday I started playing with it more. I put it in a half up style and that is when I noticed all the issues. The color is so splotchy and I literally have a spot on the back of my head when my hair is down. The cut is harsh and chopped, all of this is pictured. I called the salon nine times on Monday and left a message. Today (Tuesday) morning I finally got a hold of the girl I spoke to Saturday evening and this is where it all went downhill. I canceled my touch up appointment and explained how bad it was (color was splotchy and the spot on the back on my head, the cut, everything) and that I really just wanted a refund at this point so I could go somewhere else to have it done. Told her I had photos I could send them, etc. She proceeded to tell me I needed to call within 24-48 hours if I didn’t like it, which I did for two different reasons. And that I could come in to have the same stylist fix it… why would I want to see the same stylist?! She tried to tell me that’s how highlights are supposed to be. She didn’t care to see the photos and absolutely refused to process any kind of a refund. So I am now out a couple hundred dollars and trying to find someone to fix it because I am not going back to this place. I never planned to write a review about how bad my hair was until after that phone call. Can’t wait to see their reply, it...
Read moreThis salon is HORRIBLE! Worst experience I have EVER had at any hair salon. The staff come off very friendly and courteous at first. I was a loyal customer paying to get my hair colored and highlighted and cut and ended up never liking it. But I stayed because I thought the staff was so friendly. BOY was I wrong. I ended up in the hospital for two weeks with no cell phone and no idea of what their number was off the top of my head. I had my mother come into the hospital, from WORK, just to bring me my cell so I could call the day before to let them know the circumstances. The receptionist PROMISED up and down, even sideways, that there would be cancelation fee because it was the day before and extenuating circumstances. So I reschedule. The hair dresser comes up to me and has the nerve to give me a lecture on why I need to be responsible for the late fee. She knew the receptionist told me that wouldn’t happen but she said it didn’t matter and they would either make me walk out without a cut or pay the fee. I have never been so humiliated in my LIFE! I explained the whole hospital situation and she shrugged me off. Well let me tell you they lost a very high paying, high tipping customer over their EXTREME lack of professionalism, courtesy, manners, and just flat out not being decent human beings. I was treated like this by 3 stylists. If you go there don’t expect the sweet front they put on to continue through your time there. I would rather cut my own hair than step foot in that place again. And I’m not some competing salon just trying to post a bad review. I work with children at an inpatient mental health hospital as a case manager so I have a big heart and a lot of kindness to offer. It just really is upsetting when people treat you the complete opposite way you treat them. I wish I could...
Read moreI went to this place based on reviews so I felt it was only right to also leave one. I was serviced by Clarissa everything was great I told her about my bad experience with a hair cut & she told me she would make sure I had a better experience & would find a nice cut for me with my hair curly as well. As she was washing my hair she continuously asked other ppl what she needed to use & what she should style it with . After she blow dried my hair she then suggests that I got a BOB or above shoulder length hair & I told her no because I wear my hair curly so I would be practically bald. She was very standoffish at that point & kept bringing up the fact the my hair needed to be cut & I wouldn’t let her . I originally reserved for the hair cut package that INCLUDES a blow dry & then a $15 flat iron service that I did NOT get because she told me my hair will not look any different so I said ok just finish up. I was upset but still understood , then I get to the register & im STILL being charged the flat iron service that I did not receive. My hair looks HORRIBLE I could have washed it myself for $65. Is this common for new customers ??? I wouldn’t have even cared as long as I wasn’t charged that extra fee. I definitely threw money away coming here & I would never come back. I’m not looking for any types of refunds but that is very unprofessional. She knew she was wrong because she pulled up my price then left & had the receptionist tell me . ( the receptionist was awesome btw !!! ) Its crazy that some of my best experiences come from hair academies or schools. Now I’m left with hair that was horribly done & im supposed to start a new job on Monday . Thanks...
