I am extremely cautious with my hair and already had major damage going in. Jan was so reassuring and knew how to help me with my hair damage! I was so scared to get my hair done and make it worse but she managed to bring it back to life.šŸ„¹šŸ„¹ She was also extremely welcoming and brought a comfort like Iā€™ve known her forever.

Jan is amazing. Her passion shines through her work! She really took the time to get to know me. She understood my personality and lifestyle so that was taken into consideration when we decided on my style together. Well, I have no idea what Iā€™m doing honestly so she just took my vision and worked her magic!

We finally got there and it turned out perfect. As this was my first super short cut, she took it slow with me. I got home and decided I was ready to take the plunge to an even shorter cut and she squeezed me right into her next availability. We are on this adventure together and she always makes me feel so good about myself.

Jan will welcome you with open arms and you'll feel like a princess when you are in her chair. I love how she doesn't overbook and she really manages her time well too. It shows she values your time and her art.

I started going to Jan when I first moved to Tampa in 1997. When I called the local salon that she happened to work at Then and asked the scheduler for a stylist that wouldn't try to convince me to cut my long hair (like so many others in the past) the young lady quickly said "then you want Jan". 20 years later there is NO ONE else that I will allow to touch my hair. Stop looking for a stylist and just go see Jan at Studio J!! She always gives an amazing haircut/color for a reasonable price and sheā€™s so fun to chat with that the time flies by. Her expertise is clear and she really takes the time to understand what your hair goals are. Sheā€™ll listen well, but will also be honest with you if what you envision isnā€™t going to work with your hair or if the daily maintenance isnā€™t feasible for your lifestyle which I so appreciate! I moved from Tampa over 6 years ago and still book a flight back to see Jan whenever I need...
