Today they drop off a menu at my door showing they deliver and there is an app to order right from your phone. I go to place my order on the app and when it comes time to check out I need to add the promo code for the buy one get one 50%off burgers, arepas or paninis. I don't see the code any where on the coupon given so I called the store. Talked to a lady that didn't understand English. Talked to a second lady (she said her name was Margery) and she said that they didn't have that promo.. the promo was only for 50% off dessert or soup. those words were not stated any where on the coupon. lol anyway I asked for a manager and she tells me there is no manager. ??? where's the manager? she tells me he isn't here. so I asked there isn't anyone that can help me and she tells me no and to call back in an hour. and we hang up.
5mins later my husband calls cause he's confused on the situation and he really likes their food. He calls and asks to place an order over the phone instead to the same lady that first answered. She had a man take the order. first he says he can't take credit card orders to call back. my husband says I'll pay in cash but the man said they only take credit cards for delivery and not cash. lol so my husband said ok I'll place the order now and pick it up so I can pay in cash and the man wouldn't do that either! so towards the end the man took the credit card over the phone.. added the coupon promo that stated 50% second burger.
Before my husband and I even decided to order we kind of knew it was going to be an issue to order due lack of communication and English at the store. I think all of this could of been provented if there was a manager on duty.
this review is more for the manager to read. this happened at...
Read moreMy husband likes their burger. Because it has a lot of things on it. You can order a burger, and instead of the bread, you can put tequeño, cheese and pastry baking together. Their ideias are really good, the restaurant has a lot of places to sit and also a salsa bar, so you can choose your sauces to add in your food without any extra fee. The staff are very friendly. My opinion now. I don’t like the flavor of their burger, so, I ordered the grilled chicken, and arepa instead of the bun. If you eat the whole combination, it is really flavorful, but if you eat only the arepa, no flavor. Or only the chicken, no flavor. So you have to add more sauces to get flavor. This time, we ordered the food to go, and we live 5 minutes from there. My husband’s burger was hot, but the bun extremely cold. I don’t know if the bun is frozen or gets in the fridge, but was cold. The order of tequeños we ordered, the cheese inside was very salty and the pastry a little soggy (we ordered and ate in the car, going home). Overall, it is a nice place, to have a lot of food, but the price is similar...
Read moreWell, I used to work for panna long time ago, so I know we didn’t use to serve old food to costumers. Today I went and waited until 7am when they opened, I ordered 2 pan de bonos, I asked the cashier if they had pan de bonos ready, she asked the guy in the kitchen and they said yes. I was thinking they were coming out of the oven freshly made, I ordered them to go. When I took the first one out to eat, I could tell these we’re not fresh; they put them in the oven to warm them and then gave me day before pan de bono. First bite it was warm outside; cold in the middle, the texture was horrible and tasted stale, I wanted to go back and demand a refund or fresh pan de bono, but I was late for work. Please don’t do that, if you don’t have fresh food just say it. If the cashier would have told that they could reheat old day pan de bono, I would have said NO. Is was very...
