Went through the drive through for my first ever visit today. The tea was really old (sweet tea goes sour after a few hours). I got it swapped for lemonade and then went home to eat. They'd tossed my tenders in some sauce I didn't ask for, so I went back to get the regular tenders.
When I got there, the manager checked the order and told me the ticket said the tenders showed that they should be tossed in sweet Sriracha sauce. I only ordered BBQ dipping sauce so no idea where that came from. I went through the drive through so I didn't select that sauce, but he acted like I was the one who entered it wrong. This is my biggest complaint, I shouldn't have to tell the manager I didn't order wrong when I'm clearly there to get an order fixed. I didn't accidentally order tenders tossed in sweet Sriracha sauce. I didn't know they ever tossed tenders in sauce or that sweet Sriracha sauce existed.
That manager was generally not very friendly. He didn't offer to get me fresh fries or anything either, so the fries were cold when I finally got to eat them.
The replaced tenders were okay, not very fresh. The fries were not salted much. $13 for 5 tenders, a small thing of fries and a drink was also too much. Zaxby's and Cains...
Read moreNot really sure where to begin, but have to say that this specific place REALLY stand by it's name "People Dedicated to Quality". I recently hiked to my closest PDQ about 40 miles to treat my mom to a yummy dinner and show her the first time how amazing the chicken sandwiches are since she always hears me talk about PDQ. Unfortunately, we were on a time crunch and went through the drive through, but shortly after took a few minutes to eat our food on our trip back home. The food was not the best as I always usually have and my mom said the same thing. I was just so sad to have her experience this as her first time and decided to give the SRQ PDQ a call and tell them my situation. The manager was very sincere and took down my info. Few days later I receive a letter in the mail and was actually touched by his words and the level of customer support was beyond 100. I was able to really appreciate the time they took to make things better. I can say from personal experience have NEVER seen any restaurant do this. This may sound silly but I feel like if people follow this company's value as an example this world can be a better place. Thanks PDQ for being awesome and making me smile when I bite into your crispy chicken...
Read moreI should have known seeing a mostly empty parking lot. But, we took a chance anyway. A retro/modernistic interior, and retro music playing made it promising. The menu was chicken tenders and sandwiches. An odd couple. The sandwiches were not your basic types. Pimmento cheese with bacon and potato chips. Grilled pineapple and cheese. And Plain with honey butter or Mayo and pickles. Blue cheese. Or how about bar b que, bacon, cheddar cheese, and ranch. Yes all with chicken. And white rice bowels or salads. Went for the tenders. I just thought it was odd that my food was delivered, before I even paid (5 tenders, fries, and all drink over $10). My thoughts were warranted. Barely warm tenders. Extremely tender chicken, almost mushy. Crispy, yes. Tasteless, yes. French fries cold and limp. Siracha sauce, not hot. Creamy garlic, bland. But, my biggest complaint was the little tendon that connects the tender to the bone, wasn't removed. I bit into each tender, then spit out the tendon. Pretty much ruined my lunch. Now I understand the empty parking lot. No reason to give it a...
