Peterbrooke Chocolatier Fleming Island — Restaurant in Florida

This charming local chocolatier and gelato shop features two tabletop confection mixers (one for milk and one for dark chocolate) as well as a preparation area where guests can watch chocolates being made in small batches.

The chocolates are made continuously with high quality ingredients, and they have a “sophisticated” taste with rich flavors and less sweetness than supermarket candies. On this trip I enjoyed dark chocolate peanut butter squares ($3 each).

Also on this trip, we enjoyed cherry chocolate gelato in a waffle cone dipped in dark chocolate ($6). The creamy desert contained thin, crunchy dark chocolate shavings and the cherries were tart and refreshing! Peterbrooke has a few sit down cafe tables inside as well as restrooms. So guests can eat gelato while enjoying the small town shop ambiance.

The store was festively decorated (for Halloween) and featured a table of spooky seasonal treats in addition to the regular offerings of chocolate bars, candied nuts, and sweet treats.

Friday I realized my son's outdoor birthday party would be rained out for Sunday. That evening well after business hours I started reaching out to anything I could think of that was indoors. Peterbrook, fleming island was happy to accommodate my sons party of 16, 10 and 11 year olds plus 4 siblings.
