EDIT (11/7/202): NOOOOOoooooo! I just discovered that Chick-fil-A adds monosodium glutamate ("MSG") to their food! WHY!? I won't knock the 5-star rating to 1-star, because your place runs a fantastic operation, but unfortunately MSG in food is a deal breaker for me. People need to become more informed and Chick-fil-A needs to stop adding MSG to their food. There is no need for this. For those that don't know: "Some human research has demonstrated that consuming MSG may promote weight gain and increase hunger, food intake, and your risk of metabolic syndrome, a group of symptoms that raises your risk of chronic conditions like heart disease and diabetes." Chick-fil-A, why you do this!? I am so crushed. I love your food, but unfortunately it will be no more Chick-fil-A for me; I prioritize my health over taste.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: What on earth is going on at this place!? This has got to be the best and most wholesome fast food place I have ever been to. Iâve been here many times and food is delivered so fast to the table that I have yet to manage going to the restroom to just wash my hands and coming out with the food NOT being at the table. Iâll beat them one day! XD
This last time I went on Saturday was something else though! Everyone was smiling, friendly, and happy⌠patrons and employees alike. One employee was playing on his guitar the whole time for guests. The other employees were so attentive that someone even came out to my table and asked how I am enjoying the food and if he could âreplenish my beverage.â There were a lot of kids there with families and it seemed that they were school friends or otherwise knew each other, because people waved and said hello to each other. It was all such a surreal and wholesome experience that I was just in shock. I canât remember the last time I saw so much good juju in one place. Definitely coming back. This place is just unusual, in a very good way.
Oh, and food is amazing, but everyone...
Read moreUpdate 6/7 Went in for 2 sandwiches both no pickles. They close the lobby at 9pm. Hubby walked out just at 9 the doors were locked. So called and drove to the drive thru for it. mgr on duty Collette said come around.. now we were giving them back but before we could grab the bag she came to the window asking to see the sandwich and then said I touched it so I'threw it away and we kept handing her the other one she walked away. And wouldnt take it. So we gave it to the guy at the window. Didn't apologize and was rude. Nit chick fila way at all. Now keep in mind we come to this location twice a week and get multiple bags of ice and food. Never have we been questioned on something that was messed up. I wasn't even rude about it just wanted it fixed. Now we drive up from NORTHPORT because the one close to us isn't good. This was uncalled for. I'll be reaching out to corporate to let them know about this....and not to mention she for some reason had a lot of team members at the window while doing this to us. No need to make a big deal where you needed all those people at the window with you. To try to embarras us.
Just an update nothing horrible but I wish there was more handicap spaces and that the spaces close the door is not mostly for curbside. Just a thought. Still my fav one to go to.
Food was fresh even at 30 mins before closing. Staff was...
Read moreDo I really need to be asked 15 times if I want any sauce? I was asked at the time I placed the order. I said no. When I got to the cashier window, they didn't have the order correct. I was asked again if I wanted sauce. I said no, at which time the cashier explained that sauce came with the sandwiches and wouldn't I like some sauce? Really? I told the cashier that no would be my same answer the 15th time she sked me. Then they made a mistake on the order and I was penalized further by having to drive around the building and wait for the 2nd sandwich I ordered, while I could watch this cashier laughing about it with the other employees. I sent my order back and got a refund. No thanks. Chik Fil A is no different than any other fast food place.
IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S REPLY
The basic response I got from their ownership was "No, you're wrong we filmed/recorded your visit, referenced only parts of that, and determined the best way to handle this was to make you look like a crazy person". Of course they didn't ask me 15 times for sauce, three was plenty. The correct and easier way to handle this would be to say "We're sorry you felt this way, we have discussed the policy with our staff, and will try better next time". That's it. The customer is always right, they...
