Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

Popeyes is my favorite place to get chicken. Sadly, there's not enough of them around. However, this location is relatively close to where I live so it's convenient. Unfortunately, I'd rather drive 20 miles to a different location, in a neighboring city, than step foot in this store. I'd love to have a positive experience (which has yet to happen), but I'll take decent, and I can't even get that.

What I don't understand is how this location has been allowed to continue like this for so long without somebody stepping in to change things.

I tried calling before I got there to ask for no gravy on my mashed potatoes because your app does not allow you to modify that. Why?! I called three times and nobody answered.

When I got there, I enter into the dining room which is always trashed. Garbage all over the floor, not one clean table, and everything in disarray. I've never seen it not look like that. It's disgusting.

After letting them know I was there, I was given a bag and was told to have a good night. I asked if everything was in there because I ordered quite a bit and was confidently told "yes".

I left.

I got home and discovered the girl literally shorted me half of my order. Highly agitated now, I drove back and explained to the girl what I was owed and that I asked her if everything was in the bag before I left.

She gave me what I was missing and I was on my way again. I got home and found that I was given spicy chicken when that's not what I ordered. I can't eat spicy foods. My meal went right into the trash.

It's so obvious nobody cares. If they did, it would reflect in their work. If they cared, it would reflect in their attitude (nobody is kind there. They all have attitudes). If they cared, you wouldn't have a dining room that was empty yet nobody could sit down and eat. If they cared, they'd answer the phone.

This location will never get my money again. I work too hard to have to throw my meal in the garbage because your employees hate their job. If you all don't want to be there, neither do I.

I'm a NYer visiting FL and decided to order in because I was too tired to eat out.

First issue was the Dasher couldn't find their address. Second issue was the Dasher couldn't my address because I didn't realize that after I had inputted my address, the system changed it to something entirely different.

After driving around for almost half an hour, calling me trying to figure out what was going on, the Dasher arrived.

After all that drama, they did not send my entire order - my water and juice were not in the bag. Luckily, I was able to catch the Dasher before he dashed.😆 He was so sweet and accommodating even after everything that had happened, he offered to return to the restaurant to get my drinks and bring them back. He took a pic of my receipt and left.

He called me from the restaurant so that I could hear what they were saying which was that they do not carry water. So if you don't carry water, why was I charged for water?

They offered to send me two juices instead so I said ok.

I had the bone-in chicken wings and I.kid you not, they tasted OLD and DRY even with the sauce.

I order from Popeyes all the time in NYC and have NEVER had an issue close to this.

This is my third, and final trip to this Popeyes! I absolutley love Popeyes, but this has to be the worst location that my family and I have ever visited. We stopped on Saturday at 3:30pm, a busy time for most places. We ordered 8 pieces of spicy chicken, and requested no thighs. Large orders of red beans and rice, and mashed potatoes were our sides. We were taking the food home for our dinner. When we arrived home, we found that our chicken was inedible, tough and dry, as if it have been under a warmer since Friday. We had 2 breasts, 4 thighs, and nothing else! We were also missing our biscuits, and our mashed potatoes! When I called this location, I was told that they were having a problem with people claiming missing items, and therefore they could not replace my order, or refund my money, because I had left the property! UNEXCEPTABLE! This experience is much like our first two, but we like give places a chance, on the premise that we all have bad days! Never again! Steer clear, and if traveling north on 75, just wait 10 minutes and visit the location just one exit north. The Belleview location is great...everything has always been fresh, and correct!
