Pure Green - Juice Bar Boca Raton — Restaurant in Florida

Very nice, bright, and clean establishment. We were greeted when we walked in. We were the only ppl in there and the young man was very informative on the different menu items. I ordered a pure berry smoothie and a mixed berry açaí bowl that was free w/ elite week then I purchased 4 cold pressed juices ($8.19 per juice).

The berry smoothie was cold and refreshing but tasteless. As it started to thaw while I was drinking it it started to have a slimy texture and I couldn’t drink it anymore. As for the açaí bowl I wasn’t a fan of that either. I love açaí bowls but this one was a little strange. I asked for bananas instead of the strawberries and the bananas were very ripe and gooey. The granola was soft and the açaí was not good at all.

My smoothie had a little too much ice in it for my taste, making it very, very cold and, of course, less flavorful by being “watered down”. I don’t mind paying $10.65 for a medium sized smoothie, but I prefer a little more product in my smoothie and a little less ice so it tastes better. Speaking of paying… I offered $11.00 to the girl behind the counter and was informed they don’t take cash. I have to use a credit card for a $10.65 purchase? Really? SMH Overall the experience was just ok, not bad, but not good enough to mark it on my Google Maps for a return visit. I must say the place was very clean and bright and the girl was friendly and attentive, but not taking cash is a deal...

Visited the Boca Location after visiting the Coral Springs location. Sarah in Coral Springs sold me on a similar product. I was skeptical at first but she sold me. Now I’m working my way thru the product line! My only recommendation would be testimonials. I wish there was more reviews posted online that I could read about other people’s experiences regarding these beverages. There are a lot of interesting ingredients in these drinks and hearing first hand what they taste like or the after taste is important too. Having more reviews on here would be helpful :) overall...
