ame out to Rib City Saturday night with some family in town, and we were a large group of 10+ people. We actually called ahead to make sure we could get a reservation in and was surprised when they told us head on over. The staff that works here is friendly, and they do an excellent job of delivering awesome service. John took care of us, and handled all our orders like a pro! If you like BBQ food, this spot provides a lot of entrees and different sides you can add/mix/etc. Myself I decided to go with the pick two combo and did a half rack ribs and 1/4 pulled pork which comes with two sides. I selected the beans, and loaded baked potato (bacon + cheese). When in Rib City... you gotta try the ribs right? So what's the verdict? The ribs are extremely tasty and done just right especially with the variety of sauces that are provided at your table. Make sure to try each of the sauces out... there's a mustard bbq one, original kind of flavor one, and a spicy one too. The ribs are a bit skinny here... not a whole lot of meat on them that's my only complaint, but they're solid delicious ribs. The beans are surprisingly really tasty too. The pulled pork stole the show for me though... whatever seasoning they put on it... it is so tasty and the best part is that it even has a bit of a spicy kick to it! Honestly... it's genius! If you don't try the ribs... try the pulled pork at least! It's worth it to make the trip here...
Read moreI introduced my parents to Rib City, in which they loved the food, and started frequenting the location. Monday, they visited this location only to be made to never want to come back. Waited 30 minutes for their food, while they watched everyone who came in after them to be served. When they went to leave, they were promised by management they would have their food within 5 minutes. 25 minutes went by, when they had to ask for their food AGAIN. The food finally came out, only for the ribs to be raw inside and burnt outside. The BBQ sandwich was soggy and unfit to eat. They tried to tell the waitress, only to get continued attitude. Management came to the table, 3rd visit, only to offer 20% off or a free piece of pie. What a joke! When a meal is not fit to eat, you comp the bill, and if you care ANYTHING about someone's return, you offer them an incentive on top of the comped meal. Especially in this situation! The service industry is not as it used to be, especially when I worked in...
Read moreEverything was fine, no major errors or anything but the food was just alright at best. The skyscraper sandwich is texas toast with two layers of meat, it was NOT garlic bread as stated, there was no bbq sauce on it or on the side (they didn't ask if I wanted any on the phone order, I guess I was supposed to know to ask for it?) And there really wasn't that much meat so it just made for a super boring sandwich on toaster toasted bread and not that appetizing. My partner said the ribs were dry, the full rack wasnt that big, and the flavor was just okay. The side salad I paid $4 for was mixed lettuce. No tomato, no cucumber, no nothing, just a mixed lettuce with shredded carrots like you buy at the grocery store. The sides were very small, 3 or 4 bites per side. It just felt like fast food bbq for the price of a real restaurant. Definitely not...
