This experience was a nightmare. The hostess reported a 40 minute wait upon arrival which wasn't hard to believe considering the swarm of people scattered everywhere.
Their was nowhere to properly stage people waiting and the tables remained dirty for nearly 20-25 minutes while guests were pouring in the doors. After bringing this to the attention of the above hostess and asking for the manager, she identified herself as the manager. Explaining she had to properly stage tables for the servers and seat them in a pattern. This theory is absurd. With a mass wait list and people hungry, who doesn't staff a restaurant this size with a staff able to accommodate the crowd? The "manager" was short, rude, and just not at all welcoming or apologetic. When I clearly had a stroller she wanted to seat us at an outdoor high top. The moronic behavior was endless and as a tourist, this restaurant deserves proper management and customer service training. The other hostesses were full of dirty looks and little to no manners themselves. I also watched the manager inside of a stall likely changing the toilet paper leave the restroom without washing her hands. Her hygiene habits are about as filthy as her demeanor. She was just absolutely the worst part of the experience.
Luckily, Luis was an amazing server. Very apologetic without us mentioning a word of our lobby spectacle. As busy as he was he really made an effort to show us a nice time. Chips and salsa delicious, margaritas delicious, food mediocre. Since I don't live here, I won't be back anytime soon, but I hope by my next visit they find the appropriate staff to run the front end and find seating or some type of staging scenario for the hungry and drink guests waiting in the lobby. One of which who spilled a margarita on me...
Read moreWas one of my favorite places to go when I'm in the area until my last visit. Not sure I will be returning. Went there on Saturday night around 8pm. It was busy but not packed. We immediatly found seats at the bar which was not full by any stretch of the imagination. 3 bartenders behind the bar so it was concerning that we were not even greeted for about 5 minutes. The service bartender was busy with table tickets, the other male bartender concentrated his attention to the far end of the bar where there we about 8 people. The female bartender after 5 min with her back to us finally turned and greeted us. Got us our margaritas and a menu. Then disappeared. We flagged down the service bartender and ordered guacamole which was brought out by someone else, who we later found out was the manager on duty. The female bartender then came back behind the bar with a shopping cart (which I'm sure was taken from the local grocery store) full of bottled beer and proceeded to then restock the beer. Never once checking on the patrons at the bar. We finished our drinks and guacamole and waited approximately 10 min before asking for the check. We were never asked if we wanted another maragarita or to order an entree. Completely unacceptable. Upon leaving we asked to see the manager who was very apologetic and wanted to seat us at a table and "take care of us" which we declined. The manager was behind the bar several times we had noticed so it seemed strange that he was shocked to hear of our experience. We left there and went down the street to The Public House and had a...

I wish I could say we had a great experience at this taco restaurant, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. From start to finish, our visit was frustrating. We received our appetizers right away and then it took nearly 1.5 hours for our main dish to arrive (tacos). When we asked about the delay, our server simply said the kitchen was backed up. However, we noticed multiple tables that arrived after us received their food well before we did.
When our meals finally came, the manager admitted that they had lost our ticket- after I asked again—something they should have been upfront about much earlier. To make matters worse, only three out of the four meals arrived, and my daughter had to keep waiting for her quesadilla. At this point, it was almost 9 PM. By the time our food arrived, none of us were in the mood to eat.
We were told we’d receive 30% off our bill, but when the check arrived, the discount wasn’t applied. When we questioned it, the server initially tried to divert our attention away from the bill being wrong, only correcting the mistake after we showed the math.
Mistakes happen, but honesty and good service go a long way in making up for them. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience here. The food itself was good, but given the long wait, lack of communication, and poor customer service, we won’t...
