Sterling quality coffee and sandwiches abound at this relatively new offering in the small Fort Myers independent coffee shop scene.
Savour is located inside of a clean, but moderately vacant shopping plaza that gives off the feeling of well-tended age. Blue roofing, tinted windows, a couple interesting restaurants, a logistics institution, and a small high school all share the property. You'll know Savour from its friendly signage and outdoor seating.
The interior is cozy, modern, bright, and friendly, which matches their overall concept and service quality.
The institution is run by a husband and wife combination who have been in catering for about four years, but only recently (four weeks from the time of this posting) entered the Florida coffee community after apparently moving in from the American Northwest with its illustrious coffee culture.
Service is very friendly and quite swift, delivering a product quality on par with most table service institutions frequently on tiers regarded as superior by restaurant-goers.
While my wife and I have only visited once (and so this review should be taken with a touch of awareness about the dangers of generalization), we can happily recommend the banh mi (beautifully flavored Vietnamese bbq sandwich) and curried chicken salad sandwiches, the Savour Sig coffee, and the Amaretto Dark. The sandwiches were perfectly toasted, flavorful, fairly priced, and of sensible portion size; while the beverages were also sensibly priced and possessed of wonderfully balanced and cheery notes of every promised flavor.
Absolutely highly recommended. Best wishes to the...
Read moreI have had Savour on my list to try for a few months and I finally made it in this morning! I didn't realize they share a space with their catering company but this must be why the food is SO good. The inside is very eclectic and inviting. They have plenty of seating and the atmosphere was pretty quiet. I could see this being a good spot to work remote! The barista was very happy to answer all of my questions as I had never been there and wanted to know what everything was and what was good. He recommended the Beck sandwich and I'm so glad I tried it. The egg was so fluffy and flavorful, unlike a lot of coffee shop sandwiches (it tasted real and fresh). The bacon was cooked well, the cheese was melted and creamy and the mango chutney gave it just a hint of sweet that made this sandwich savory. I wish I had got two of them! I also grabbed their punch refresher for the little man without the caffeine, the pumpkin spice latte and the caramel macchiato. We loved our drink options. Overall not a bad price either. I paid around $24 with a tip! I will definitely be back as there isn't a great coffee spot like this in the area. They have locally roasted coffee as a bonus! They have so much to choose from, there has to be something for everyone. They even...
Read moreI absolutely love savour! I used to go to Starbucks and every time I’d go I would never know if my coffee was going to taste good or not! The last couple times I’ve gotten my coffee here though an ingredient was missed but had already left and was headed out of town or else I would have said something, and just today I ordered a pick up and I ordered a large and got the smaller size. I cannot give a bad review for that though because it isn’t a common reoccurrence. I do have to say since hiring some new employees they aren’t as good as the originals! I love Paul and Hannah! I still order several...
