I want to love this place, I really do. Food is terrific the place has been cleaned up and really looks nice. The owner is engaged and hands on. I will come back for a third visit, and if things are better I will change my score. The problem is the service. The problem with the service is the wait staff attitude. And that problem starts with management. I caught a glimpse of that attitude when the owner was on the mic. That exact same attitude was reflected in all the male staff (there are several females working, that I did not that same vibe from). A very blatant âThis is the way it is and if you donât like it, thatâs too badâ. The waiter was single-task-focused, he would take an order from a table go execute that order then come back and get an order from somebody else and then go get that taken care of. He would not tend to more than one thing at a time and my wife literally had to stand up and block him to get our drinks refreshed. The dirty dishes stayed on our table for over a half an hour after we finished eating. Multiple empty tables with dirty plates and glasses were throughout the dining area while the waiter sat at the back empty dining area on his phone. Even when he was up and going, most of those tables stayed dirty. The bartenders both basically said what they felt like without any regard to conventional service boundaries. The entire time, the owner is present and part of the situation. Itâs very obvious the staff is very secure in their position and how they handle things and that the owner condones this. That being said, The staff does work together. They are basically pleasant and want to do a good job. They simply lack the proper guidance in setting good service standards. Much has been said about the food, good things, because the food is really really good. Also, the owner is putting out some money for some superior entertainment. This restaurant has the potential to really dominate Marinatown and become the go-to place of the area. I will try them out...

As we were driving I was saying that I wish someone had a good Bloody Mary⌠because I am tired of these half shot of vodka with v8 quality bottomless bloody marys. We pulled into sea craft and our bartender (Tammy) was ranting about her bloody Maryâs, so I decided to try one⌠OMG! Itâs been well over ten years since I have a quality Bloody Mary with candied bacon, shrimp, lemon, a HUGE green olive and Tammyâs specialty A1 steak sauce.. (I was a skeptic at first but 6 bloodies later I was truly in love with this drink!). My wife got bottomless mimosas and has been switching between all four flavor varieties (Very good, especially ruby red). And the cinnamon roll, so good!
Being in Marina town, amongst the other sub par tiki bars, this place is definitely a diamond in the rough and a must try! I saw someone order the shrimp po boy and my mouth began to water! I came to your business with high expectations on a suggestion by a friend, I have since told that friend how bad it was, they said sorry it was before the pandemic when they were there. You need to take stock in things and not just blow a bad review off and try to claim I'm a 1% not satisfied.
