I’m not sure if this place is under new management or what, but it doesn’t seem like the same place that I remember from a few years ago. Different vibe. It has been tradition for me to get a 24” pizza early in the day on Christmas Eve day, and now they aren’t even open. I didn’t know that, so I had to pivot to plan b, which was disappointing because I had my heart set on it. I decided at the last minute to give them a try on New Years Eve day w/ takeout. The pizza was horrible. It was warm (not hot) when I picked it up, but by the time I got it home, it was lukewarm to cool. The crust was tough and hard like it had been sitting out all night and greasy! I couldn’t even cut through the crust with my pizza cutter to make a piece smaller. When I arrived, they said it wasn’t ready yet. Within a minute, it came out, which I assumed was right out of the oven. I’m thinking they just had it sitting in the back room. Honestly, I think their pizza would taste better eating in, but that’s giving them credit where credit may not be due. I also couldn’t help but smell peanuts when I opened the box. If I had an allergy, I would have been very concerned. I’m not sure where the peanut smell came from on this Bianca pizza? The ricotta possibly? When I took a bite, not including the ricotta on it, it still tasted like peanuts. Ricotta cheese added nothing to this pizza because that’s exactly what it tasted like - nothing. And for having garlic, there was no hint of it. Do they even do taste tests on their food, or do they just go through the motions of making them? The place wasn’t even busy yet. Matter of fact, I was the first order of their day. The pizza should have been stellar. The cheesesticks weren’t good. They were too long in the fryer. All in all, this was a waste of $40 bucks. This is not my past experience. I need to add that whoever I interacted with to pick the pizza up (short with a beard) was dismissive and rude. It wasn’t an aggressive rude, just a lazy rude. I thought it would be helpful to tell him that the company website was horrible for ordering. He dismissed it - couldn't care less. Check it out. It’s just awful, and unless you have their phone number to personally place an order, it’s the only way without going in. I asked another employee if they had take-out menus to replace the one I had from a year or so before. They don’t do them anymore. They don’t even have take out menus. They told me to go to the website or take a photo of their menu in-house. Are you trying to cut costs? Geez. This place is getting too complacent with making their pizzas. They rode the wave, and for me, it's over. There are so many pizza places now in Pensacola, and more opening, that Sky’s Pizza could eventually be a thing of the past here, especially if others are having the same experience as me. I won’t be back. All in all, my pizza was gross. I wish I had something positive to say. I love to give pros and cons when I review, but the only pro here was that a parking spot was open right out front. I'm not surprised now. They...

My daughter tore some ligaments in her knee last night so after leaving the emergency room last night my kids and I decided to grab some pizza since it was too late to cook anything. We decided to try out Sky’s pizza since we have seen so many good reviews on here. Well THANK YOU everyone because they did not disappoint. Upon arriving Christian saw us coming in the door and noticed I was helping my daughter in on crutches. By the time we got in he was already looking for a table for us where she would be comfortable. Mind you it was a Friday night and they were super busy. He greeted us and immediately noticed a family leaving a half booth and asked us it that would be ok. I said yes and he grabbed some help and went straight over to clean the table for us . We were offered drinks right away by our server Morgan who took the time to explain some of the menu to us since it was our first time trying this place our. We observed as she was very attentive to all the customers she was serving. Offering to box up peoples leftovers, refilling drinks, taking orders etc. the what annoy my daughter and I was the three male Karen’s sitting next to us that I swear looked more like trust fund babies. Every time she walked away they would make some rude comment about the waitress that we would overhear even though she was going above and beyond to help them offering them discounts splitting their checks three ways, and boxing up food for them and making sure all their needs were taken care of. In my opinion as good as the food was the service here was even more valuable than the food. Needless to say we left a very large top for both Christian and Morgan. She was so surprised that she ran over to Christian and they both came over to thank us before we could leave. They appreciated our business and we will definitely be going...

Tonight was our first time trying trying Sky's Pizza. We wanted to try a place that might have somewhat higher quality ingredients than the typical chain pizza joints. Honestly, we were disappointed in this pizza. Friday night's special is the Cheese pie, which we ordered with mushrooms, bell peppers, and red onions. The pizza sauce is nothing to write home about, as it barely covered the crust, it tasted bland and had a generic flavor to it. In fact, I've had this same pizza sauce elsewhere, I just can't remember which pizza place. We also ordered the cheese sticks and a side garden salad. The cheese sticks were very good, as well as the marinara that came with them. The garden salad was good, as it met my expectations. With all the great reviews for this place, we were expecting a bit more as far as quality of the pizza. However, the lady who took our order was very nice and helpful, as well as the staff who waited on me when I went inside to pick it up. Our biggest complaint is that each topping is an additional $2.50 for the 24" pizza. Our pizza was hardly covered with the three additional toppings we ordered. Paying extra for toppings is completely understandable, but please, at least give the customer what they paid for. We gave 3 stars for the great customer service, but would have given two stars for the pizza alone. We'd love to give this place another try, as maybe we had a new pizza preparer/chef, etc., but for now, we will keep looking for other great pizza places in Pensacola. ...Just an honest review in our...

My first impression wasn't the best when I walked in. The tables were still dirty from maybe a lunch rush? I'm not sure because there were only a few tables that were occupied at the time. Then someone came to the rescue like a restaurant superhero and saved the experience. I didn't catch her name, but my receipt said Drea. When she told me her name at the beginning, I didn't commit it to memory because I didn't think I would be writing a review at the time. The Sky superhero that saved the day, quickly cleaned up any mess that I saw while being attentive to my order. She explained everything and was very upbeat. Her motivation was infectious as all previous negative experiences I had walking through the door dissipated. I ordered a half order of the bacon and cheddar garlic knots and a 16 inch pizza with pepperoni, bacon, and extra cheese. I only got a picture of one garlic knot because it was at that point that I decided I was having a 5 star experience despite the screaming kids and initial misgivings. The dough has a good flavor and everything was cooked well. If you have kids that want pizza, this is a good place to take them. I was there by myself, but the other 5 tables were families with young, happy, energetic kids.

Sky’s Pizza Pie truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best New York–style pizza spots on the Gulf Coast. As a locally owned spot that started as a humble bakery, it’s grown into a community favorite—and for good reason. • Crust & Pizza Quality: The thin, hand-tossed crust is light and crisp, made fresh daily. Flavors come through clean and classic, especially if you stick with straightforward topping combos. • Menu: Beyond pies, they offer great starters (fried cheese sticks, pickle spears), solid salads, wings, and subs that fill in nicely when you’re craving variety. • Ambiance & Service: The vibe is welcoming—perfect for casual group dinners or quick takeout runs. Seating is comfortable, and staff generally friendly and efficient. • Value: Pizzas are generous, portions satisfying, and pricing reasonable for the area. • Areas for Improvement: On a few occasions, reviews mention occasional soggy crusts or longer wait times during rush hours. Overall, Sky’s Pizza Pie delivers what they promise: delicious, authentic NY-style pizza using quality ingredients. Highly recommended—especially when you’re craving that perfect crispy crust.
