Texas Roadhouse is amazing. All of the locations in my area, actually, are amazing. From the menu selections, to the prices, to their superb customer service and staff, there is very little that I would change. That being said, the ONE thing I would change: I would make Texas Roadhouse available to order on third-party delivery apps, like Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Postmates, etc. Even better, if the restaurant offered delivery directly. However, the delivery factor alone is not enough for me to not continue regularly ordering, or for me to give them less than 5 stars. Typically, I order through their website for curbside pickup. They have a decent rewards program and I occasionally receive emails for extra discounts and promotions. Since my household does not currently have a vehicle, I use Ubers' package pick up feature and pay extra for an Uber to park in one of their curbside spots. I then call the restaurant to inform them of the name of the driver, their description, and the make and model of the car, so they can easily find the correct vehicle. I then contact the Uber driver to let them know that the order has been paid for, the name the order is under, and which spot to park in. I often offer the driver an additional tip for waiting on the order to be ready, although they rarely have to wait long. Texas Roadhouse has RARELY made any mistakes on any of my many orders. They deserve every dollar they make. The loaded sweet potatoes are to die for, along with the lemonade and sweet tea, which you can mix and match by getting a half gallon of lemonade and a half gallon of sweet tea. You can even add additional flavors such as strawberry, peach, and raspberry to both for a few extra cents. The best thing on the menu, however, is the basket of yeast rolls and cinnamon butter. Although they have recently changed the menu to only include one basket of rolls and one container of butter to be added to your order complimentary, you can now order additional rolls and butter under the "sides" portion of the menu. There is a limit on how many rolls you can order, unfortunately. You can only get up to 2 dozen extra rolls, and you have to pay extra for additional cinnamon butter. And the butter, while very much worth it, is not cheap. Nevertheless, I order the max amount every time. I also want to give a shout out to this location's manager, a female, but unfortunately, I do not remember her name. She stayed at the restaurant an hour after it closed because my Uber cancelled the trip after realizing he had to wait for the order. It was about a $100 order, so the manager contacted me and said she would wait for me to order a new Uber to ensure that we got our order. She did not have to do that, and she went above and beyond what I ever could have expected from any restaurant. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a bar, steakhouse, BBQ, family-friendly, sports bar kind of environment. They have baskets of peanuts on every table and you can throw the shells on the ground. It's very casual, and the service us top notch. If you haven't already, give Texas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo whom it may concern, My entourage of seven family members had dinner at your TEXAS ROAD HOUSE location yesterday evening. We have considered ourselves regular customers at the Clayton Crossing Way, Oviedo, FL location, for many years ever since it opened up. The food has always been consistently excellent and the service 5 stars. First, our waitress was very conscientious, friendly and above any reproach. She was worthy of praise. My rib eye Ft. Worth 14 oz steak was excellent! However, for $26.99 you should be able to get a baked potato. Evidently, at around 6:30 pm you ran out of them. I was offered French fries which I accepted. Unfortunately, when I took my 4 year old grandson to the men's room, my French fries were taken away by the bus boy before my family could figure out what happen. Speaking about the men's room, I wouldn't let my grandson use the toilet or urinal due to the floor being covered with urine, especially in front of the urinal! Really disgusting! Are not the bathrooms periodically inspected? I had to take my grandson back to his grandmother so as to use the ladies room. Apparently, I missed the fact that there was a family bathroom, too. That was clean, according to my wife. I then returned, to find my French fries gone... Several of us conceded to the French fries instead of a hardy baked potato with sour cream and butter... By the way, the few fries that I did have, tasted real good. When I tried to flag down the waitress, the music was so uncomfortably loud that she couldn't hear me. So, I gave up on ordering a new order of fries. When she returned she couldn't hear us without us yelling at her. What's up with the noise??? Your restaurant was also unusually warm. Why? I did get some free peanuts as we left. My consolation price due to the absent French fries. I should also say, that the rolls and butter continue to be sublime. As aforementioned, the waitress was excellent. Yet, I was greatly disappointed that my favorite eating establishment took a bad turn last night. My grandson did enjoy his hot dog, though. The ribs were a tad bit too dry, but to be fair the other meals were good. You folks still cook a great steak! I seem to keep saying that. Not certain when, or if I return to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE. This review from a once dedicated customer may or may not, mean anything to your Organization. However, the next time, when I feel like going out to dinner for a tasty steak, perhaps I should take pause and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSTAY AWAY! Absolutely horrible experience this slow Tuesday evening. When we arrived our party of 8 was not all there which I certainly understand they would not seat us. But when she said, āDo me a favor, you need to sit and wait outside until your party arrives.ā It is Florida and very warm out and I had an 80 year old disabled man with me. She had no empathy and just wanted us gone. The way she said it was very age discriminating not to mention condescending. How dare I show up without my entire party ā¦ā¦ get outside and come back when you are all here was the impression that resonated. There were seats everywhere inside to sit. It wasnāt busy. Now, I understand we were a group of 8 but we should decide whether or not our group should be separated ā¦ā¦ we were celebrating a birthday. We were not given that opportunity. The manager Mariah could have cared less. She even smiled as she said she was sorry that TRH messed up the birthday celebration. She did not even try to give a resolution. She just did not care nor did she want to take the time to rectify the situation.,Clearly she needs a lot of customer service training as she proceeded to argue with me that I nodded and agreed to be sitting at different tables. She is a poor excuse for management and her youth and immaturity was shining. She is horrible at representing this restaurant if the general manager is not there. When I asked about the contact for the general manager, she said it was illegal to give her personal telephone number. Like who would think I would want to call her on her personal phone? I wanted the restaurant number but she was clueless. This young lady clearly needs A LOT of training and should not be left alone to make decisions. She was too interested in dancing. I will NEVER go back to this facility. We were celebrating a birthday and my father in law was in from Washington state and our kids couldnāt even set with him. They hadnāt seen him in 4 years. I will take my business elsewhere in the future. But I will say this ā¦ā¦ the server was EXCELLENT and was very apologetic for the managerās inability to know how to be sincere and run a business. Bad business TRH ā¦..It is just as easy to go to Outback and Longhorn in Oviedo. At least they have better...
