This place is outrageously American!!! We arrived about 8pm and the place was empty, by the time we left half an hour later it was heaving. They are very expensive and as someone from the UK paying $20 for a milkshake ($18.33 plus tax each) is a lot to stomach, they are substantial though and you do get to keep the mason jar (which is glass by the way, we wouldn't have bought them if they were plastic). It's a try once for the experience type of place, we couldn't afford to do it regularly. We ordered Mint to be, very very minty ice cream with Nutella round the jar and Andes mint pieces but the best part was the warm and moist fudge cake on the top and chocolate cream, delicious. Dashing through the dough, cookie dough ice cream with cookie dough pieces, Nutella round the jar, an extremely tasty cookie dough sandwich and fresh cream on top. They do exist, this one should honestly come with a diabetes warning, candy floss ice cream, an extremely sickly sweet piece of cake (too sweet and we couldn't eat it all), candy floss (only pink, not blue and pink like the pictures), a candy rock stick and lashings of cream, the jar rim was coated in what tasted like pure coloured sugar. They were all very very well made with quality ingredients. My only gripe was when ordering their system asks to select a tip amount, being from the UK we really struggle with tipping before we've even had chance to try the food and service so this made us feel very uncomfortable and on the spot, I'd much prefer a tip jar on the way out or something along those lines. I panicked and selected no tip, šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Let me preface by saying I have visited the location in Greenville and had a great experience, which I did a review for and gave 5 stars. The reason for the 3 stars for this location is the customer service, or lack thereof. The only person that spoke to us was the young lady with color hair. After that, everyone else just looked at us while we were looking over the menu, eating, and when we left. The young lady with the blonde hair and I'm assuming the owner (short, round man) didn't greet us nor wasn't helpful with ordering. The man looked me in my eyes and still didn't speak. When we left we didn't even get a "thank you for coming" "have a good day" "I hope you enjoyed everything" just watched us leave. It was very awkward, so much that my 10 year old felt it too. I'm not going to say it was due to race because we were the only customers there the entire time. I will say that for $20 a person, you should treat ALL customers with hospitality and not watch them while they eat. We come to Orlando once or twice a year. I don't mind paying $20 for ice cream, but I must get great customer service. I will never return to this location. I would rather take my chances on McDonald's ice cream machine actually working than returning here again. The murials on the wall were cute and pictures worthy.

This place is AMAZING! It’s clean, there’s plenty of room to sit, but not too crowded (you can walk around evening every seat is filled) and the staff are so friendly & welcoming. Came in for dessert on Father’s Day (party of 6). We had no idea what to order since it was our first time. Everyone was patient and so accommodating, giving suggesting and letting know we can add to an already existing menu item or take things away. The desserts were so delicious. Ingredients were so fresh (not years old tasting like a previous review stated), ice cream was very creamy (no ice chunks or bits at all) just so good. The appearance of these masterpieces just makes you feel happy, almost like being a kid again. You can opt for the mason jar or not on most desserts. You can purchase just the mason jar too. They even have a sink in the back to wash out your mason jar when you’re done, which is a fabulous idea! This experience was joyful and delicious. We will be back and we will be telling others to try this place, for sure!

We ordered

Mint to be, very very minty ice cream with Nutella round the jar and Andes mint pieces but the best part was the warm and moist fudge cake on the top and chocolate cream, delicious.

Experience was not a good one. We paid almost $50 for two (2) fancy treats, and some of the ingredients on my wife’s was super SUPER stale. I’m talking tasting YEARS old. Inedible. We brought it up to the staff, they asked for the rest of her treat back, and offered no resolution. Had they offered a resolution, given the price we paid, it would have been a better experience. We told one of the employees, who directed us to the manager, who did nothing but take the rest of her treat. Kinda made me upset they asked for a tip before they even provided the service—I wanted my $5 tip back, but it was too late!

Aside from that, based on the taste, the ice cream they use is one of lower quality. All of the other ingredients are very high quality (aside from the extremely out-of-date one(s)).

Company has very high potential, but because of the lower-quality ingredients utilized (in aims of higher profit margin) we will not be returning back & will not be offering recommendations of this place to anyone. In fact, we will advise others to steer clear of this place, since the focus on the high $$ and missing of the quality makes it just another ā€œtourist trap,ā€ ā€œgive-me-your-big-dollars for not-much-in-returnā€ type of establishment. Sad given the high potential of the place…could be a hit for locals, return customers, and providing...
