Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Florida

Well, my husband and I went here tonight and sat at the bar. We literally waited 5 minutes, and NOBODY greeted us; acknowledged us; or even made eye contact. It wasn’t very busy, and we thought we’d give this place a try, since we hadn’t been there yet. We were really disappointed and walked out. I saw a young girl with dark long hair in back eating, and two other workers in the back, so I’m not sure why they didn’t acknowledge new customers. I think we will try one more time at a later date, but I think there needs to be some additional customer service training. We are hoping this was a one-off night. It's been a minute since my last visit to Tijuana Flats. My first surprise was the cost of the menu. I'm stating it but moving on. My order was for a burrito bowl with black beans. I was able to eat it all but am quite sated. There was good flavor and it's always a benefit to choose from different sauces. The biggest rain for a stellar review is because of Pablo. We learned he has been with this restaurant for about a month but in all honesty he could teach a thing or 2 to others in the food industry. Place went down hill. Was ok when they first opened but food is trash now. Just spent 50 bucks there on food I'm going to just throw away...

Went in today, Aaron was the bartender. He was awesome. Was attentive, informed me of all the specials and deals they offered. Took my order and triple checked multiple times that it was correct. He made suggestions on food options. He was very polite and outgoing. Initially had a 1 star rating due to a previous visit being not ideal, Aaron's customer service and overall attitude has made me change my review. Can tell he actually genuinely enjoys his job and interacting with customers....
