Update 14 December 2021: Finally had a chance to bring the wife for lunch. We were seated promptly and greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The draft beer selection is great and includes some nice IPA’s as well. We started with an app of Boom Boom Shrimp. Very nice. We both loved the seasoning and the spice level. I do wish that the cabbage slaw on the bottom of the bowl was eliminated and replaced with more shrimp. Seemed like a letdown to see half of the bowl filled with something other than shrimp. For the entre I ordered the Jalapeño Jack burger all the way with waffle fries and my wife ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, also with the waffle fries. The Burger was just fantastic! What a feast. I was literally wearing it after diving face first into this thing. I didn’t care for the fries however. They were cold, under seasoned, and not what I was hoping for. The wife said her Buffalo Chicken sandwich was absolutely drowned in Buffalo sauce and was so vinegary that she couldn’t taste anything but that. She said it was so vinegary that it could have been a flip-flop and she wouldn’t have known. However, she did like the fries. Maybe next time she can get the sauce on the side instead. Again the food was good and so was the service. We definitely want to return to try their other offerings.
.Previous Visit: We visited yesterday for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. I had the Louisiana Combo and my partner had the Black Jack Chicken sandwich. The food was great and so was the service. What more can you ask, right? High praises to Heather our server. She was spot-on courteous and professional in every way. We definitely want to return to try...
Read moreInteresting history – Good for people that like spicy food. This is one of the new restaurants built within the last year. We had excitedly anticipated its opening since we went to, I think, their original restaurant in Louisiana. It is located north of the Viera Walmart and south of the Viera shops. It has a good amount of parking in its dedicated parking lot. There is a covered area outside the restaurant in case it gets busy and you have to wait. You enter and are greeted at a counter. A hostess will take you to your table. I would suggest going early as it can get busy at times. There is a bar to the left and some seats to the left of that. We were seated behind the bar on the lower level. There were some games right near are table that people chose to play while we were there causing it to be a little loud. There are TV’s mounted above the tables all around the restaurant showing various programs and shows. The waitress took our drink order after about 5-10 min. I ordered the ribeye po’boy and my partner ordered etoufee’ and a salad. My sandwich was very good. The tea and water had a very strange taste to it and I was told that the etoufee’ was mediocre. They do have Beignets which we tried. They were not as light as I was used to but pretty good. Service seemed a little slow but the waitress was pleasant. Overall, it was a fair meal with these high and low points. If you like spicy foods or sports bar type atmosphere, this could be the...
Read moreI rated this 3 only because the kitchen and bar were spot on. I think they are holding the restaurant. I can't event begin to say how bad our waitress was. We watched her walk by our beers three times for pickup and managed to serve other people after us. Another waitress ended up getting them for us after I had to get up to go get them. Beers were warm by then. It took forever to get our drink order and our food. Someone else delivered the food. No water still by the way. The order was wrong. We told her we wanted fries not rice and beans. She left us and 15 min later she came back and said we ordered that way and she put it in that way. The manager wasn't much better. He spent more time checking his phone and talking to hostess. At one point he straightened tables and left an entire food and napkin mess on the floor. Those behaviors tells me the waitress wasn't trained. At the end we can forgive alot but the waitress clicked on a 22% tip before we signed. It was deliberate. The place was very noisy and when they moved tables you will hear a loud screech of metal on concrete. At least 2 other tables we saw were having trouble. When we asked about what was up with waitress we were told she was having a panic attack from the heat. We were in the...
