I have, regretfully, had multiple experiences with this particular Wendy's. After my first visit with friends resulted in the manager telling the cashier she could only take two orders at a time when we had four separate people in line to order for themselves I inwardly seethed at the manager's clear incompetence. Even if he had only one employee in the kitchen, even if he wasn't going to help fill the order, refusing to take a ready customer's order when they are standing in front of you and your cashier has nothing to do is inexcusable. On a side note, the cashier performed her job wonderfully, albeit with her hands tied. She was kind and considerate as she comforted my friends with pleasant conversation.
I managed to avoid the establishment for almost a year before I was convinced by friends to use the drive thru. Order was incorrect. Perhaps an employee did that, but I sincerely doubt management trains new hires correctly. Not to mention the fact that if managers don't care, employees naturally will not either.
More time passes, and I order through Uber Eats without thinking about what location I'm recieving from. Order was again incorrect, but I checked my anger because I had also been having problems with Uber Eats in general.
I now use Door Dash after having moved to a different part of town. I am much happier with the new walking distance Wendy's I frequent. I had thought my order would come from there, but alas it was not to be. I now realize this is a franchise Wendy's and corporate does not partner with delivery services. That explains why service is terrible, at least.
Tonight's order was a large 10 piece spicy nugget meal with a vanilla frosty and a side of 6 regular nuggets. One pack of barbecue sauce for each container of nuggets. I recieved a chocolate frosty, one package of barbecue sauce and one of the normal nuggets was actually spicy. Ah, and everything was cold except for the spicy nuggets. Having worked fast food in the past, this tells me a few things.
First, my Dasher performed her task admirably and delivered promptly. The extra 20 minute wait the app informed me about was clearly the restaurant's fault. Second, the cold fries and normal nuggets tells me that while they waited for my spicy nuggets to cook, they left the rest of my order someplace else other than a warmer. Third, the one spicy nugget amongst normal ones makes it clear that they likely are not properly separating their foods. The chocolate frosty instead of vanilla isn't worth classifying as fourth, because it is merely a symptom of the generally awful service I've come to expect from this location.
I realize corporate likely has no control over this location, but they should at least investigate to ensure the restaurant is not violating any contractual requirements to retain the Wendy's name. Instead, I will appeal to the franchise owner: scrutinize your leadership style, examine the actual practices of your managers with surprise visits (no calling ahead) and hire new managers as necessary. Let your new managers figure out the employees and let them make whatever process changes are necessary to improve your individual restaurant's brand while complying with contractual...
Read moreI was an innocent bystander I came in to the store with my father I ordered my food sat down everything was ok. An older lady came in about 60 years old and spoke broken english. While she was placing her order with the store manager she made a mistake ordering what she wanted she tried to correct it and the manager told her that it was too late to make changes and that what she ordered was what she was going to get. The customer explained that she wasn't familiar with the name of what she wanted so the store manager wasnt helpful and became argumentive with the customer.I felt very bad for the customer I wouldnt want that to happen to my mother. She shouldn't have argued with the customer. The customer is always right. Then she went to the back and started disscusing what had happened with her co workers and laughing and then the customer bacame more upset. Because her laughing and discussing. I felt that she miss treated the customer she showed no respect she never apologized and she should not be a manager. Im only 12 years old and I felt very bad doesnt she understand that one day she'll be old to.This happened on December 21,2015 between 6:00 and 6:30pm You would think that due to the holidays people would be kinder to each other. Also we had to wait 20 minutes for our food to be ready. The lettuce was all old and black. The chicken nuggets were raw and cold. The management crew was not very helpful. While we were sitting we noticed a lot of people left because of how long they...
Read moreI was in the drive-through I had ordered specifically two biggie bags with orange HighC for both with no ice in neither one I get to the window and she chose. the hand me the two glasses of HighC with ice in it. I told her I said no ice so she dumps the cup with ice in it into another cup makes that no ice. My drink is water down. Not very good. Not as sweet as it would’ve been. If she would’ve never put ice in it. I’m looking in the biggie bags. I told her no pickle on the double stack there is pickle on my double stack. And the fries are not very tasty either because they are lukewarm and hard. If there’s a Zelle Wendy’s treats, their customers why even be open for business I have asked the woman that had served me to just dump out the drinks and remake them. She refused and handed me the drinks. Anyway, I am not happy with my order and would like a refund, I don’t want a credit this food is disgusting and what makes it worse is I can’t take it back because I’m in an Uber and cannot afford to pay for the ride to come back to Wendy’s. I guess this is the new year that they start with when it comes to their customers ask me how my review is you get no stars be like you got one I do not appreciate how I was treated by the staff in the...
