UPDATE.. We were contacted by a representative (owner? Not sure) And I am updating the review accordingly as I am a big believer in backing your product and your business. I appreciate the the effort to reach out and address the issues. The call was thorough, she asked detailed questions regarding what went wrong, how it went wrong, whom was involved, etc., as well as options as to how we would like it resolved. As I mentioned in original review this establishment has always delivered on expectations of quality product until the past 2 months. With that said. In addition to being contacted with sincere interest in resolving the complaint, (we were credited for the order) I am willing to give them another opportunity. I would like to see this go back to the 5 star places we frequent, as there are not many left. At this point. I have updated my review from 1 star to 3 and I am hoping our next experience will have it back to 5 stars. The review process is all we have left as consumers. I appreciate the response and that you reached out and have reflected that. i will continue the integrity of my reviews by waiting till the next meal before further review at which point I will consider removing the original review as seen below.,............. ORIGINAL: I cannot believe how bad this was. I could have gone 200 ft. 8 Instead I drove 5 miles, spent $50 and have no food to eat. Extra pissed you ruined the only thing my Dad asks for on Father's Day. I HAD LITERALLY 2 BITES OF THE EGGPLANT AND I HAVE such bad heartburn. The calzone is a giant sopping wet with grease soggy gross. This place used to be great... told so many people about this calzone.. how phenomenal it WAS. The pizza, undercooked, also a sopping soggy hot mess. To the young man who took my cash tip YOUR WELCOME, did no one ever teach you to say thank you? To the owner, this place had great food. Good quality ingredients, creative teist on the calzone...Today, all 3 things I ordered were anything but. I am also curious aa to why you only respond to the reviews...
Read morePicked up our pizza today and it seriously looked like the dough was bad. It was as flat as paper and you could not even cut it with a sharp knife. Called right away to let them know, we didn't feel like we should eat it. the first time I called they left me on hold right away then hung up before I even could talk. I called back..... the lady that answered the phone was very rude and told me to talk to the manager. I did, and explained what happened twice, he asked for the phone number when we ordered and said they would deliver a new pizza that he was sorry, after a long wait the lady came back on the phone and asked me what is your problem! I asked her what happened to the manager that I was just talking to and she said he can't understand me! I explained it again to her and she said come back in and get your money back. I said why can't you just credit my card back and she said NO you come and pick it up. We WERE regular customers, NO MORE. She is always rude, I picked up a pizza one evening around 8:30 and when I walked in she was arguing with another man that worked there, and NO they didn't stop when I walked in or while I was paying for the pizza. I think it is insane to have the customer come back for a refund when they were in the wrong and we already drove so far to get the pizza. Terrible customer service, very tired when businesses think it's ok to treat...
Read moreHello everybody, on my menu today was the taco pizza from Westshore Pizza. personally I think it was a mistake for me to order a medium Pizza from the restaurant that I don't know what specific seasonings they use. Call me jaded for having don Pancho Villa for my lunch today as well. The taco pizza seasoning in use is just too salty when in tandem with the beef that is in use. My pizza was remade and they were more gentle with the seasoning and they even took my input in regards to how much Seasoning might be suitable so that it doesn't taste like you're biting into a block of salt every time you take a bite of the taco pizza.
Definitely worth a revisit the owner was very pleasant and I want to give him a shout out as well, thank you very much for actually taking the time to show what seasonings you were using and showcasing why the pizza was too salty. I would definitely recommend personally avoiding the taco pizza until some revisions are completed because you would completely miss out on how amazing the rest of the ingredients and the pizza crust itself is. The crust was absolutely perfect, crunchy, and held firm with the toppings. The staff is incredibly friendly, playful, and dedicated to their craft. I would fully recommend this pizza place just for the quality of the food.
Coming from a guy who had worked at a pizza inn and dominos before the pizza and quality is...
