I would usually purchase ice cream from the Westchase location every other week or month since it’s not too far away from my home. I walked there earlier this evening and had the worst experience with an employee who said she was the manager. So I had asked her for two kids scoop ice cream on cones and she told me it cost around $9. I gave her $10 and at the same time we changed the order to one ice cream cookie sandwich which she said cost $6 instead of the two cones. She told me that I owe her $2. I was surprised because I explained to her nicely that if the cookie cost $6 and I gave her $10 then how do I owe her $2. She went off on me screaming in my face that I owe her and I was wondering why. She seems impatient and very unpleasant because someone was waiting in the line and so she was just trying to get my money and get me out the way to deal with the other customer. I told her to keep the money and I left because I was really embarrassed of how she spoked down to me infront of all those customers. I went outside to calm down from her nasty attitude and politely went back in to ask for the manager. She said she was the manager and I told her how unprofessional she was to be the manager and ask her for my change. She took out more than what I had given her and threw it on the table. I took back my money and left the extra which wasn’t mine. Maybe she wasn’t literate in math for her to went off like that. She said, “thanks for the change” then went off talking about she doesn’t need my money. I was highly disappointed knowing that I’ve been supporting them for months in fact years because I’ve moved in Westchase 4 years ago. The disrespect she did to me and I had no choice but to answer her back. This manager needs to learn patience, good PR, professionalism and good work ethics! She has none..and to be the manager, she will lose a lot of customers for her aggressive nasty attitude! No matter how bad of a day you’re having, you must learn how to communicate peacefully with your customers who pays you and keep your doors open or you will never have longterm customers. Maybe I never needed your ice cream after all especially with that nasty attitude. You will not prosper for treating people this way…trust me! The owners must rewind their cameras to see how rude she was and how it started. She was an older women who was very rough and loud.

Arrr mateys, if ye be cravin’ somethin’ sweeter than gold doubloons, Whit’s Frozen Custard in Westchase be the hidden treasure ye seek! I dropped anchor at this fine establishment and, by Blackbeard’s beard, I was not disappointed. The custard be smooth as the calmest seas, richer than a king’s ransom, and cold enough to put a chill in ol’ Davy Jones’ locker. The flavors be plentiful, and each one dances on yer tongue like a crew of merry sailors. The scallywags behind the counter were kind and quick, servin’ up treats faster than a cannon shot. Whether ye be a fan of cups, cones, or makin’ yer own concoctions fit for a captain, Whit’s delivers the goods. If ye be sailin’ through Westchase, don’t ye dare miss this bounty of frozen delight. Five stars and a hearty "Yo-ho-ho!" from this old sea dog! 🏴‍☠️🍦

This is still my favorite custard in the area. I always prefer this creamy, thick frozen custard over ice cream. If you like gelato over ice cream, then you'll like frozen custard. I wish they had smaller portions because I order the mini and it's still too much to eat and I throw out about half. My daughter has never finished her kids cup either. They do a blended version or a Sunday version where everything comes as a topping. They also have ice cream sandwiches and ice cream boxes to go. I almost appears get the O Henry George with chocolate custard as shown. Definitely recommend!

I'm gluten and dairy intolerant so I'm always looking for new ice cream places to try that support my dietary needs. I came here after seeing on the website that they offer coconut milk and oat milk based options, however there was no indication on different types of flavors so I figured I would ask once there. Upon arriving I was told the only vegan options they had were in cups in their freezer. They had four flavors available: strawberry, cookies and cream, peppermint, and vanilla. There were no oat milk options which was extremely disappointing. I opted for the strawberry and after opening, it looked like the cup had been melted and refrozen at least 10 times. It was impossible to eat with a plastic spoon and was not good at all. For my vegan friends out there, save your money and time and head to...
