Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Florissant

Horrible! I just went to get dinner and was told they had no strips and the chicken would be a 30 minute wait. I said ok and ordered a 10pc a family okra a family bomber and a family fry. It totaled to 33 dollars which seemed high but I didn't want to go anywhere else. The chicken took 30 minutes so I paid and then went home which is 3 minutes away. When I got home and started to plate our food all of the family sides were refrigerator cold. You mean to tell me that they literally made the sides before the chicken was ready and let them sit there and get cold like that! I'm so damn mad I could scream. Now I'm microwaving everybody plate which defeats the point of me stopping to pick up dinner. I'll never go there again and I'm calling their corporate office and sending an email first thing in the morning. $33 for trash.

Must be under new management because today was a good day. The person who took my order over the speaker was polite, funny and efficient. When I made it to the window to pay the cashier was also very polite and professional and smiled while she did her job, imagine that! Turns out the manager was who took my order and she was delightful. I give my experience today a 10 out of 10. I placed an order in the drive thru with a coupon and the young black male cashier was very nice. There was not a wait in the drive thru and they had 1 customer on the inside ordering. This was on Saturday july 5th around 420pm and they manager came to the window a few minutes after I had paid and told me that I had to come inside to pick up my order. I told him that I was not able to do that. He proceeded to curse at me and say it was too M F hot for them to bring my order outside. I told him that I'm certain that by him being the manager that corporate would not approve of his word choices and poor customer service. He stated that the cashier was new and he should not have taken that coupon order at the drive-thru. I said since you've already taken my payment kindly refund me and he said that I would get the same tyoe of service at any of the other church's chicken. Decided to try their Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp w/ Fries & Cole Slaw & Honey Butter Biscuit & it wasn't bad, although I felt for the size of the Shrimp they could've given U more of them!! Basically the portion is just enough to tease ur appetite. Church's has some of the best Cole Slaw! & when their Honey Butter Biscuits are fresh & hot, they are the best!!!👍 Unfortunately my order was not nice & hot, it was lukewarm(almost cold) as it had been sitting for a lil' while. There is a employee named Reshena who deserves recognition & acknowledgement for being such a hardworking, pleasant, model employee!!👍. I have visited 2x when she was working & both times she was truly holding it down💯 when they were understaffed!!! She is a valuable asset & gem to the company!! Her professionalism, customer service, & overall hardwork should not go unnoticed!!! She runs the system & crew like a boss💯👍.
