I hate to give low ratings at new establishments as I always start at 5 then take away stars for each incident I experience while there. So I saw video on my Facebook page that said this place was great. Looked good so gave it a shot. First thing I always base my ratings on is customer service. I called to place order as I had stops to make on the way and wanted food to be ready by time I was done. The girl answered phone just like this at a rate of 10000 words per min “thank yuh for calling SANDWICHA there is 1 caller ahead of you” then hold music came immediately after no time for me to say anything. I waited 7.5 min before it started to ring in my ear again. Finally she came back on and said the same spiel but this time says there’s 2 callers ahead of me! I tried to catch her so quick to say uh uh you told me 8 min ago 1 person ahead. Of course she pressed hold before she even finished the words. So I waited another 7 min and finally lady took my order. I got sweet chili steak sandwich no tomatoes with cheese fries and spicy fire chicken wrap. She says 15-20 min.
Get to the place pull up behind one car that was at drive thru pick up window. I sat there another 10 min car didn’t move so I’m like ok I thought this was pickup so surely if order not ready they would have them move up so ppl behind who’s food is likely ready can pull up get it while it’s hot. Nope so I proceed to park and go in. It’s raining btw so even more frustrating I had to. The girl at counter was taking order on phn so as I was waiting a lady came up and called out items to the order ready and it was mines. So she apologized thought I had been helped already and she took my payment and I was on my way. So all together it was about 30 min wait time for food once placed order. Got home food wasn’t hot just warm barely and I live 5 min down the road. My sandwich had tomatoes which I cannot eat so had to throw it away but I did take some bites and it was sloppy but no sweet chili flavor at all so not sure if even had right sandwich. My man’s food he said was just ok. So $29 for that service and food wasn’t the best but I’m just accepting it as a loss and hoping they get better with time. I understand it’s new and still working out kinks. Advice however to keep ratings up work on that customer service answering the phone and the pick up window make ppl pull around if their food isn’t ready within 5 min of them pulling up. Defeats the purpose for other cars whose food might be just sitting...
Read moreUpdate: Ash BRAT was Not the server as Ash was very professional, apologetic for her rude staff, and determined to make it right and I really appreciate that. It was the long hair young white lady who was very rude and unprofessional. Nevertheless, Ash offered and asked what she could do to right the wrong on behalf of her server. She offered food but we declined because we aren't looking for a free meal. I will however give this place a second chance on behalf of the very polite and professional manager. Again I am thankful for the encounter I had with the manager Ash BRAT L and hope that the server that was rude doesn't cause detrimental damage to this place and work on how she treats customers.
Went to sandwhicha for the first time and my experience was terrible. We ordered a turkey burger and wings with sauce on the side. The cook mistakenly put sauce on the chicken which is ok we all make mistakes so we had to wait another 15 min. Get home and find that they didn't put the side sauce in the bag and my turkey burger was cold so they didn't remake it so that it would be hot and ready to eat. That bad part is when we called back up there to tell them, the server was totally rude and offered to give us 2 sauces when we come back. I then asked for the manager or manager's name which she refused. She told me the manager will be back in sometime thise week. I then asked for her name and again she refused. We will be back up there tomorrow but not for the sauces, but for our refund because we won't pay for you to mess up our order and take your rude attitude. Find a different line of work because you don't know how to treat your...
Read moreSaw a video on Facebook about this new spot. Invited a coworker to come try it out since it was a newer spot and fairly close to the job. The decor was okay but my coworker did notice that some of the posters looked like subway posters. The air conditioning wasn't working so it was hot inside. I recommend taking your food to go if you want to try this place out. I ordered the sweet heat steak sandwich. The meat portion is much smaller than advertised and isn't worth it for the price. It did have "flames" by it so I thought it would be spice but it was not. My coworker got the fries dragon sandwich but the chicken had a weird after taste. Pretty sure it's the grease that it was fried in. The fries carried the meal. I also tried out their steak cheese fries and they were pretty good. For a place named sandwicha I figured their best entre would be sandwiches but I was highly disappointed. I do have high hopes as it seems this place was recently opened. I plan to go there again in a couple months to see if they read the comments and hopefully work on their recipes. My coworker also said the chicken in the sandwich had minimal to no flavor in...
