Went to this DQ on 7/26 around 8pm. When I parked, I noticed a line of cars in the drive-thru. Went in & stood by counter. There were about 5 customers in waiting area, waiting for their food & NO ONE at the counter. We waited & waited, until the young gentleman at the drive-thru waited said someone will be there "in a minute"....so we waited & waited & waited. While waiting, I noticed cars were being served & moving thru the drive-thru. This is the same experience that we had at the other Flower Mound location on 3040/Long Prairie, just before they closed. They seemed to only be concerned about the drive-thru customers & moving them and letting the people who come inside wait. We finally had someone come up & take our order (2 ice cream cones, 1 small shake & 1 soda) and then we waited some more & waited & waited & waited. While waiting, an older couple sitting in the waiting area said that they have been waiting a very long time, as we noticed cars quickly moving through the drive-thru. I went to get my soda & noticed the beverage area was dirty, especially the drip tray on the soda machine (see pictures). It was actually pretty disgusting to see what was in the drip tray. Due to this, I decided NOT to get a drink from their machine. We finally heard our order called, got our cones & shake and left. Would NOT recommend this DQ location, but they may all have the same "serve the drive-thru...
Read moreI was totally fine having my order taken by a young lady with torrettes she was very kind and I was very patient and she did wonderful ...however her peers not so much there was a simple mix up on my order I addressed it with the young lady with torrettes syndrome and she fixed it appropriately ...then her peer and co worker swooped in and tried to handle it saying let me talk to my manager and tried to give me free ice cream in which I kindly replied no thank you its not necessary I think she handled it appropriately and it was not a big deal however co worker insisted she talk to manager anyhow in which she came back to say it was being handled and offered free ice cream I declined it and was a bit upset she didn't listen when i said a manager was not necessary but also I felt it was rude and degrading to the young lady with torrettes ... maybe the employees need to be trained better to deal with employees with disabilities sad day when the disabled person has more manners and morals than most the people working there ...do better DQ seriously not ok your food may be good but your actions suck and that's not Equal Opportunity treating the disabled like they are incapable of doing their job cause you think you can do it better...hope that employee sees this and thinks about how ugly her personality is...
Read moreIt is 10:19pm Tuesday night 5th of June. We just got home from picking up our food from Dairy Queen located at 1909 Justin Rd in Highland Village (FM 407 & Highland Village Rd). I am truly disgusted at what they just put in my “drive thru” order. I ordered a 6 steak finger basket. In my red and white box they gave me what was supposed to be my gravy in a small styrofoam container and was filled with a white watery liquid that was loaded down with black pepper. The liquid was not in the least bit a gravy and the taste was one of the worst things I’ve tasted. My fries were all fried hard and cold like they gave me the remaining amount of what was left over at the end of day. My steak fingers were all hard as a tortilla chip and not one bite was edible. The young lady at the drive thru window served this meal with a smile. I’m leaving this review because I’ve gone through this twice earlier and now the community needs to know that this Dairy Queen does not care in the least bit about serving hot delicious american food to the public, PERIOD! Being passive about this and letting this go will not fix their growing problem of serving inedible food. So if you have to go eat there for any reason do yourself a favor and check your foods quality before you leave the...
