Studio B Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Highland Village

I was VERY unimpressed with this theater, the VERY low budget sets, poor acoustics, no microphones, cheap costumes, poor play writing and directing. As a supporter of the arts, I very much wanted to like this place and perhaps even send my child here to be involved. In addition, for a CHILDREN'S theater - it was NOT child friendly and the adult staff were RUDE including the director of the place. They were rude to the children and to the paying patrons. My daughter is currently in Shrek Jr the Musical. She is having the best time!!! :) She loves being a part of the show and the teachers and staff are amazing!!! :) She comes home every night in the best mood and proud to share all that she has learned. What an incredible place Studio B is!!! :) I LOVED watching opening night last night and excited to see the remaining 5 shows!!! My husband and I attended Studio B for the first time to their summer production of All Shook Up, at the recommendation of a friend. We had so much fun! Laughing, singing, and enjoying the show! The teens had a passion for what they were doing that showed so evidently through their performances, which also gives a clue as to the support they have through directors & behind the scenes assistants!
