Unity Park — Attraction in Highland Village

Went to Unity Park to practice some hitting. I had just bought a pitching machine and have been trying to find someplace to use it.... This park has 4 baseball fields with full faculty. More than that they have 4 or 5 batting cages,equipped with lighting that you switch on, electrical outlet inside the cage to connect a pitching a pitching machine and a pitching screen for pitcher protection with large rubber back drops. Great place to play! Very thoughtful design! Offers something for everyone. Variety of playground equipment for different ages. Lots of space to play hide and seek. Lots of places to sit in the shade. Nice circuit training set up, separate from the playground but nearby. Wide open greenspace. It's a fairly nice complex with 4 fields for kids up to 12 and under. The largest field however is s softball field, messaging there's no grass infield, making it extremely hot. The dirt send to reflect off the dirt. I like the next to largest field. It sits about 4' above the ground making it perfect for real dugouts, the ones that you step down into like in the pros.
