This is now my wife and I favorite meditation restaurant. When people write that this place is a hidden jem that is a understatement. First let me tell you how to get hear.(the only reason why I already know is because it was once a pizza parlor that I have been to). There is a driveway between Kroger's and Sonic, that you need to turn into. The back of the restaurant faces the road so you need to go around the building to get to the front. I don't know what they were thinking when they built this place. Ok the food! Appetizer; We ordered the hummus trio. You get to pick 3 types of hummus. We got eggplant/chick peas and pink sultan.(this is made with beets) They were all good , the hummus was the best. Meals; Wife ordered the Stuff cabbage Being a vegetarian, I ordered the Sultan's Delight - cubed lamb in a sauce with rice. Desert; We shared the baklava. I would like to say we are baklava Console. I can not tell you how many times we have ordered and eaten baklava , but I can tell you without a doubt this was the best we ever tasted. The nuts were so fresh, the pastry was super flaky and the syrup was soaked in not poured on. A pictures worth a thousand words so here's the pictures. Will definitely be back .

This place is a hidden gem! It felt like every recipe was passed down through generations of Turkish grandmas. Not only is the plating gorgeous, but the flavors, the textures… it left nothing to be desired. The babaganoush was PERFECT, served with plenty of fresh pita. The kibe were fantastic - soft in the middle and crisp on the outside, it’s the best my boyfriend has ever had, and he’s had a LOT of kibe. Didn’t get good pics of either because we scarfed them down like animals, but highly recommend both. The Sultan’s Delight is now one of our all time favorite dishes from anywhere - unique with beautifully balanced flavors, which I’ve never had but was deeply comforted by. It’s a little tangy too, with the softest lamb and served with perfectly cooked rice. I would gladly eat it several times a week. The oven baked lamb was also moist, soft, and didn’t even require a knife to cut. Buttery, almost sweet. I’m not much of a lamb person, it tried it at the server’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did. Oh, and the coffee. Strong, flavorful, with a unique scent we loved. Service was also 10/10, super sweet and attentive server with great energy. We went yesterday and I’m already dying to go back!

A little bit on the dry side perhaps owing to the latency between pickup and consumption lasting over an hour۔ I've never understood the reluctance of average dining joints to omit a key qualifier for the seafood - farm-raised or other. And the shrimp too is never clearly identified except in Oriental restaurants where discriminating demand standards. The Mousaka had rice on the side. Don't want to draw too many conclusions but it was clearly unexpected. The Mousaka itself had been short changed in terms of ingredients unless it was a specific regional flavor that should have been labeled accordingly. The kebabs were done well but perhaps owing to Styrofoam to-go boxes did not appear to be characteristically Turkish where the "protein" still maintains its linear shape after de-skewering.

I really wanted to like this place. It has great reviews, but I was disappointed. The positives : ~ The arugula salad was good. Simple salad with arugula, pickled onions, tomatoes and a vinaigrette dressing. Tasty. ~ The gyro meat was decent. It could have had a higher level of seasoning for my taste, but it was okay. A tad dry, but ok. ~ The pita was good. It may have been fresh made and if it wasn't, it was soft and nicely grilled. I've never had a gyro that didn't have onions or one with pickled carrots and cabbage, but I'm open to new variations.

The negatives: ~ The mixed vegetables were overcooked and completely unseasoned. They went in the trash. ~ The fries were unseasoned and very cold.... Not slightly cooler because it was a carryout order, but cold like they'd been sitting out for a couple of hours. They were mostly trashed after trying to heat them up and only making them drier. ~ The tzatziki was meh... Just Greek yogurt with some dried herbs in it. Bland. ~ The baklava... Soggy and tasted old. It also went in the trash.

I might try them again and order something different, but the bland food suggests that this may not be the spot for me. Disappointing. The reviews from people in the community were...
