Read moreI really wanted to like this place. It has great reviews, but I was disappointed. The positives : ~ The arugula salad was good. Simple salad with arugula, pickled onions, tomatoes and a vinaigrette dressing. Tasty. ~ The gyro meat was decent. It could have had a higher level of seasoning for my taste, but it was okay. A tad dry, but ok. ~ The pita was good. It may have been fresh made and if it wasn't, it was soft and nicely grilled. I've never had a gyro that didn't have onions or one with pickled carrots and cabbage, but I'm open to new variations.
The negatives: ~ The mixed vegetables were overcooked and completely unseasoned. They went in the trash. ~ The fries were unseasoned and very cold.... Not slightly cooler because it was a carryout order, but cold like they'd been sitting out for a couple of hours. They were mostly trashed after trying to heat them up and only making them drier. ~ The tzatziki was meh... Just Greek yogurt with some dried herbs in it. Bland. ~ The baklava... Soggy and tasted old. It also went in the trash.
I might try them again and order something different, but the bland food suggests that this may not be the spot for me. Disappointing. The reviews from people in the community were...

First let me tell you how to get hear.(the only reason why I already know is because it was once a pizza parlor that I have been to). There is a driveway between Kroger's and Sonic, that you need to turn into. The back of the restaurant faces the road so you need to go around the building to get to the front. I don't know what they were thinking when they built this place.
Ok the food!
Appetizer; We ordered the hummus trio. You get to pick 3 types of hummus. We got eggplant/chick peas and pink sultan.(this is made with beets) They were all good , the hummus was the best.
Meals; Wife ordered the Stuff cabbage Being a vegetarian, I ordered the Sultan's Delight - cubed lamb in a sauce with rice.
Desert; We shared the baklava. I would like to say we are baklava Console. I can not tell you how many times we have ordered and eaten baklava , but I can tell you without a doubt this was the best we ever tasted. The nuts were so fresh, the pastry was super flaky and the syrup was soaked in not poured on.
A pictures worth a thousand words so here's the pictures.
