Twice ordered from here during the time of Covid and both times had issues. Without dine-in I thought they’d be able to be more focused on carry out but no. First time ordering directed me to grubhub to place the order for pickup. 7pm Sent my order in and grubhub stated it would be ready within 35 min. Reasonable. The status then showed the restaurant never acknowledged the order within that 35 min and pushed back the pickup time another 35 min. To 8:10pm. Eventually grubhub confirmed the restaurant ack’d the order and it would be ready an hour after the original pickup time (95 min after I entered the order) 8:35pm I should’ve canceled then but I figured to give them a shot. Arrived 5 min after the order should have been ready but the counter people gave me blank stares. I sat and waited then 10 min later someone tells me they just saw the order on their tablet and needed to enter it. This meant enter the order, NOT ring it up. Another 30 min later at 9:10 pm I finally walked out with our food but for the first time getting from there, was disappointed with portions. Perhaps they’re conserving from supply scarcity or cost cutting. Whatever, I’m trying to support local restaurants and want to give them a chance so the second time I ordered directly from their website which the counter person recommended last when I asked what happened last time and they just shrugged. Selected curbside delivery so I wouldn’t have to wait inside again with all the unmasked customers walking in and out. 10 min past the directed pickup time with no one coming out with our food my friend just went in and the bag was sitting there. Oh and by the way the $10 Greco bowl doesn’t come with fries. It’s just a salad with meat. Learned that after...
Read moreCustomer Service is really terrible here. Called 9/2/19 at 7:51 PM to place a pick up order. I was on a time crunch and needed to call ahead to save time. First call never got an answer. Didn't think much about it, but called right back. This time I got an answer from a male and his response when answering the phone was "Hello." Not a "Thank you for calling Luna Grill..etc." I thought it was a little bizarre and almost thought I had a wrong number. He was a little slow and didn't catch my whole order, but nothing too terrible. He then told me the food would be ready in 10-15. I was 13 minutes away, so that was perfect. I get to the restaurant and go to the cashier to pick up my food. Lo and behold, my order was not sent back to the kitchen! I was slightly irritated. The girl that was checking on it was NOT assertive and was standing at the computer where the guy who initially took my order had put it in, and never hit "send" I guess for the kitchen to prepare my order. The girl that was standing at the register saw that my order was on the computer and went straight to her her manager. The manager said "Oh Im sorry about that, we can get that out as soon as we can. your total is going to be $21 and some change." I was charged full price for my inconvenience by the manager working this day for THEIR mistake. They were not concerned with my time crunch, and only concerned they got their money. Everyone was unapologetic, which made the whole situation infuriating. Will not be coming back to...
Read moreThis was my inaugural visit to Luna Grill, and I must confess, the experience was thoroughly enchanting. The ambiance was delightful, accompanied by unobtrusive and buoyant melodies, while the light fixtures presented a charming spectacle, unique and engaging to behold.
Our attendant, the gracious Mr. Jareth, was most affable. He conducted himself with the utmost politeness and exhibited commendable precision in taking our orders. Not only did he ensure to reiterate our requests for accuracy, but he also attentively visited our table on multiple occasions post-servicing our meal, ensuring our satisfaction.
I partook in the Santorini Bowl with shrimp, which I found utterly delectable and consumed in its entirety—a most generous portion for a lady of my stature. However, a note of discontent arose from our dinner guest who found the red wine vinaigrette on the salad to be unexpectedly sour, rendering the dish inedible for them. This was a minor blemish on an otherwise enjoyable repast.
Additionally, I must remark upon the cutlery, which detracted somewhat from the otherwise splendid experience. The bowl was of plastic, and our plates appeared to be fashioned from some manner of paper. I am convinced that the inclusion of more refined tableware would significantly elevate the dining experience. This would most certainly bestow upon it a more heightened sense of value and...
